Is a lack that has generated such abundance really a lack…

Not to worry Pat, you don't need a big post everyday. Sometimes just the pictures alone are enough to celebrate.

Like some of that wood for beside my fireplace. We would both appreciate the sight.

I adore wood... any grain, any stain, any type, any color... it's all beautiful... and continues to get more so with age. Kizzes

If you want a prompt, I do want more stories of your doctor friend who taught his sons.

Thanks for the morning wood, which generated another one here - not the first time!

@ Anon, November 30, 2022 at 5:22 AM - Oh, gosh, that was such a very long time ago. He certainly was ahead of his time - but then, again, he was Native American and it's what they do...they do not shy away from nature, they honor it.

Considering the season, I would imagine that the vacation camp to which the character of your last year's novel was used to go to would now have to deal with feeding the fireplace - if not himself - with some sticks or logs that may lye around, would he not?

What if you were to write about him going back to the camp at late autumn time, in pursuit of whatever clue as to what would help him sort the previous events, and not even slightly aware that the obedient yet silent guardian of the place holds the keys to the whole mystery.
What do you think?

Just some stories is all. Whatever you have.

@ Laurent - Great minds think alike! Connor Bradshaw Series - Book 2, has him back up to The Woods to solve who has set cabins on fire.

Tired of trying to land a publisher.... Taking your and Upton's advice, I am readying the series to self-publish.

What about crowdfunding? I'm sure most of us here will be willing to make this project happen!

Perhaps its time to re-issue an invitation to all those who have submitted requests or relevant anecdotes to provide feedback of how it went and perhaps further developments: there's a dearth of real, genuine publication of situations, responses, outcomes and developments in mens lives available to men in general to not only learn from but to realise they are not alone in their experiences. Too much fallback on fiction to entertain and titillate and not enough reality.

Hell, any issue of interest to men is worthy of exploring: even what it feels like to have an article celebrating wood and thrusting well endowed members metaphorically in the face when one experiences wood less and one was never well endowed to start with. There is still a lot of shame around size and functionality and despite comments that size doesn't matter it seems like a double-standard when one has mainly endowed and erect members presented as though it is too shamefull to show anything else. Gotta walk the walk as well as talk the talk for it to be genuine.

@ Anon, November 30, 2022 at 7:20 PM - Size is still an issue for many, many men...and for women. It matters to everyone. All bloggers could do better. The issue we bloggers who use photos to illustrate posts is that pics of men with small penises are not in abundance. They aren't all that easy to find. I collect them for use when I run across them, though.
