Numb Crotch

A friend from my days in the theatre did a second post on social media that he's been experiencing a "numb crotch," called Pudendal Neuralgia, since an accident earlier in the year. Well, you all know me. I couldn't pass up the chance to give a bit of guidance.

While a numb cock won't prevent spontaneous boners, the "on demand" ones just won't rise to the occasion.

Guys are visual creatures when it comes to sexual arousal so it's possible to use the imagination (or porn) to get hard. But numbness prevents sensation, thereby preventing the ability to reach orgasm and/or ejaculation.

Not being able to cum can be frustrating as hell.

Unless, of course, you're great at fantasy and a master at what is known as "hands-free" ejaculation.

The first suggestion I made (delicately, since it was on social) was to get seat cushioning for his computer chair that will ease the pressure on the perineum.

And, because he bikes everywhere if he doesn't walk, a proper bike seat.

Further crushing the central nerve bundle on top of the trauma from the accident is perpetuating the problem.

If that doesn't ease the numbing over time by allowing the nerves to reinvigorate, it may be time to go see a Urologist certified in Acoustic Wave Therapy, which is FDA approved to help restore damaged tissue.

And see if that can get things functioning properly again.

It amazes me that some men can have hands free orgasms'. I have to work at mine.

Had two friends try that nerve stimulation and both were no happy with the results. One it helped very little and the other none at all. They both said it was a waste of their money.

Whoa what???
This is something I've never heard about. Hopefully he'll recover!
And I've heard that about bike seats. They CAN be a boner killer.

XOXO

MY WORD! I had no idea there were men and wieners afflicted in this manner! Why isn't this in the news? Is there a foundation searching for a cure? Where's Dr. Fauci when you need him? I believe this is a national crisis... and to thing men have been suffering in silence all this time... with no hope for a cure. We need to get on this right away... we need the biggest dicks - Bezos, Musk, that freek who owns Virgin Airlines... on this right away. If it happened to them? I could happen to YOU!

I wonder if Acupuncture helps? It has been used for thousands of years for every ailment, on a gazillion people long before modern medicine. One of the things that it does well is re-open neural "pathways."
"Acupuncture involves inserting needles into the body to stimulate sensory nerves in the skin and muscles. This may help treat chronic pain, increase blood flow, etc."

Hugs and bisous.

I have to agree with a few here...this is a new one for me too.

I spent three grand on acoustic wave therapy, and it did NOTHING.

@ Upton - LOLOLOL. We should call out the National Guard. Those boys in uniform could probably help!

@ Hooter - Yep. It appears that a lot of urologists are using it as a treatment for ED. Some it helps, some it doesn't. It depends on the root cause (no pun intended).

@ Jean - I will have to mention that to him. Who knows? It can't hurt. Hugs and bisous.

@ Big Dude - It's really not an ED treatment - though some urologists are claiming it is. And some guys have seen some improvement. But I don't think those raging boners are going to return with this treatment - not unless there is no issue to begin with. The Men's Health article a few years ago made it seem like a miracle cure - when the staff writer who had the procedure (in order to write about it) did not have even a slight case of ED.

Unless "numb crotch" also affects the prostate and surrounding nerves and muscles, one way to continue to have orgasms might be to explore prostate stimulation which doesn't require an erection and in fact discourages penile stimulation during the process.

It's amazing how few men understand the male anatomy and ability to experience pleasure by only sticking to rudimentary penile orientated sex. Orgasm and ejaculation are related but not one and the same thing.

As for hands-free orgasm, I posted a quite lengthy diatribe on it a month or so ago, linked to the ability of pre-ejaculatory boys to orgasm, but it was during the time that there were issues with the platform, so I don't know if it was ever published.
