It’s hot and steamy. Then the AC dies. Back on for 24 hrs, then off again. Temps in mid 90’s and humidity 98%in a.m. windows dripping. Ugh. How did folks survive without AC? Hugs and bisous.
@ Jean - I can relate. Our temps were still hovering around 107 - 109 and the humidity is up as Monsoon season begins with wind, clouds rolling in and rain in parts of the valley. And the power went out --- again. Typical for this time of year. We're supposed to see temps above 110 again tomorrow through the weekend. Hugs and bisous.
@ Maddie - Wordpress???? OMG. Those are usually safe - if they're not the freebie kind. The Morality Police are getting way too carried away. The only way this kind of shit will cease is if we get out and totally crush at the polls in '24.
Those kind of days can prove to be the best kind of days... rejuvenation can take place - so long as we don't beat ourselves up about the fact that we're just not that into doing things at the moment. Everything is temporary. And everything should be experienced and celebrated.

When I'm at my apartment, I'm naked during this heat wave. With the AC on. And the fans. And a LOT of fluids.
