Speaking of Balls

And while we’re on the subject of balls… Faithful reader CoreyJo of Corey’s DarkCorner and Other Unreachable Spots, whose blog is always beautiful and makes my cock stand up and pay attention, posed a question the other day.

She is curious as to “why do the balls move around? Not the sac tightening & relaxing because of temperature or nearing orgasm, but the balls themselves. Do they ever stop for any reason?

What she witnessed in motion on her Sailor were the Cremaster muscles. These small muscles fall into the category of “smooth muscle” – muscle we have no control over, like the heart. This group of muscles in our bodies operate on auto-pilot.

The scrotum controls optimum temps for sperm production; it “scrunches up” to pull our man-berries up closer to the body when they’re feeling a bit cold and it relaxes when the temperature gets too high. So, in a sense, the scrotum might be grouped into the smooth muscle category as well.

But the cremaster muscles control the position of our nuts for other purposes. They envelope the vas cords and loop and attach to the testicles. These are the muscles that pull your balls up when you’re about to blow your batter. They help to eject the sperm from the Seminal Vesicles (where your little swimmers stay while they grow to maturity) when you cum; they place further pressure on your stones to replace what leaves the seminal vesicles when you cum. It’s also thought that the closer we get to ejaculation, the more rambunctious our thrusting and to keep our cajones from slamming around and getting bruised they get pulled up out of harm’s way. Just as they pull up (though you wouldn’t be aware of it) when you face danger. It’s the body’s defense mechanism for our balls.

So the cremasters keep a check on our nuts as stimulation increases or decreases to protect our precious factories from harm.

But remember, you must still do your part. The cremaster muscles won’t help you avoid a kick to the crotch! I know it’s quite a popular thing to play soccer with the jewels hanging free, but in my opinion those guys are taking an awful chance! Violently bouncing balls as you run the field can cause bruising. Taking a kick to the nuts can cause severe enough trauma to result in losing them.
I don't detect a single guy on that team with a jock strap tucked into their dropped shorts. Enjoy it if you must - but don't be surprised if your balls ache after a game, or if one (or God forbid, both!) gets smashed during play. And don't say that Whkattk didn't warn you!

soccer without ball protection?? are these the same kind of guys who climb without a safety line, jump into pools where they can't see the bottom, go mountain biking without a helmet and pads? ah, the stupidity of never-injured youth. :)

WOW! Where were you when I had to do a research paper for school?

That has to be the most thorough answer I've ever recieved for a question asked. Now I know. Thank you. I even read it to Sailor Sam who admited that out side of temperature control he didn't know the rest.

It's nice to know there is someone I can ask these kinds of unanswered questions, and know I'm going to get an honest & thorough answer in return.

Also, thank you for the shout out, and being so sweet about it. I enjoy your blog immensey. Not only is it informative, it's quite enjoyable and at times erotic. I will continue to think up questions for you. I might even do a poll amongst my girlfriends to see if they are curious about anything physically or mentally having to do with Man.

You're the sweetest Whkattk!

@Anon - Could be the very same brave souls you talk about. Personally, I hated jock straps when I was a kid (didn't we all?), but they've gotten much more "nut friendly" since the old days. Newer styles and materials will keep them GENTLY in place while you run, bike, or play rugby or soccer to keep your boys from getting bruised. And, again personally, I prefer that my nuts don't ache for any reason!

@CoreyJo - Always happy to help, you know that! I think - no offense to my other readers (honest!) - you and the Sailor hold a special place in my heart!
Any time you have questions, fire away!
