Do Your Part

The drought conditions in the Western United States continues to worsen. California is now entering their fourth year of drought, Nevada and Arizona are now beginning an eleventh year. Lake Mead, which provides water for all three states, has dropped to perilous levels due to lower-than-normal snow pack in the portion of the Rocky Mountains which feeds the Colorado River.
2
Southern Nevada has long since been under water usage restrictions and has conserved billions of gallons of water. Yet it's not enough to keep the lake levels from dropping. California has seen reservoirs dry up to dusty bowls; residents of those areas must now travel to purchase water.
3
While no restrictions have been placed on industries which help fuel the economy, residents have been told they must tighten their belts where it comes to thirst. No washing of cars, watering of grass is restricted to three times per week (during summer months in Nevada, it's once a week).
4
Water has become the most precious resource; without it, life will cease. The old rhyme, "If it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down," is no longer enough. Men make up 49% of the population. The typical toilet uses 1.6 gallons of water per flush.
5
Urinals use anywhere from 10 to 14 ounces, and some are actually waterless
6
Some trough urinals use little to no water at all
7

8
Men have been blessed with the ability to whizz anywhere. If we went back to pissing outdoors the savings could be mind-boggling and have a huge impact. I've created a dedicated place in my back yard - all men are directed there when they've the need.
9
Do your part, men. If you can't afford to install a urinal at home, whenever you can, go piss outside.
10
We've also been blessed with the ability to aim. So, if pissing outside isn't possible, use a sink (but please don't run the water the entire time like this schmuck)
11

or shower/tub
12
somewhere where you can control the amount of water used to rinse.
13
At the very least, use a bucket or other container that can be emptied outside.
14

15

16
You might try to convince the management company of the building you work in to install waterless urinals. Or at least post a notice above the existing ones politely asking men to "please leave the flushing to the evening cleaning crew."
Ladies, you can do your part by making the above suggestions, and by not commenting if the males in your life are using either of the unorthodox methods above to conserve such a precious resource - unless, of course, it is to encourage them to do so.
Have a great weekend finding ways you can conserve water.

This article is a direct gift to the pros of cutting penisses. Both the christian and the islamic religion base their cutting-rite on lack of water for cleaning "in the desert".

novel idea to piss in the sink or outside. Genius at work here.

I am in the Midwest which has too much rain.

I read you in California are having a great trouble with water, because it's a long time it's not raining!!!

Well, I gotta say, there ain't nothing like pissing in the shower - all that nice warm water really adds to the pleasure of pissing. Ahhh : ) So sad to hear about how bad the drought has gotten. Amazing how the laws stop the small leak and do nothing about the large industrial leaks. Thanks for all you do for us brother. You are a gem! Wishing you a bonerific jizztastic weekend. Lovingly huggin and stroking you in spirit, AOM

There are so many other savings to be made to spare the water and rationalize its use!
After "Peace, not war" are we going to have to shout "Piss, not war!"?
Pissing outside, OK, but for the pleasure of "free cocking" (as we say "free balling")
I wish you a wondrous weekend, my dear friend, with a lot of pleasures to "piss" away the time, and a lot of bisous.

Many parts of Australia have also suffered drought for several years, while other areas have had floods! This first week of April has been quite wet in many areas of our State. Have a restful weekend. Patrick

Then there is "grey water." Peeing in the shower is such a good idea, AOM, that some scientists have used it to come up with systems that will probably be in all houses one day. Water from showers, SINKS, washing machines will be used for flushing toilets and watering gardens, etc. they want to avoid sending the water to the treatment center VIA SEWERS, and keep useable water in the home.

BETTER YET, SHARE THAT SHOWER!

I guess that there are some advantages to living in the Northeastern 'snowbelt'. No water restrictions here as of yet. We will start whining though, when the price of everything we eat goes through the roof.

Good post!

Good idea--peeing outside, except I don't have a privacy fence, so I run the risk of getting taken in for public exposure.
Wish the Californians would set up desalination plants and drink water from the sea. Also read an article that says it isn't the almonds that are drinking up so much precious water, but alfalfa. Go figure.

@ Anon - Then, I urge you to use one of the other methods...piss into a bottle or other receptacle that can be emptied outside, rather than using the toilet or sink where water is required.
