Dog Days

When I was a kid and lived in the Eastern part of the country, we called this the Dog Days of Summer.
It was hot. It was humid. We would hope for rain to cool things a tad.  And things seemed to slow down a bit.
Here in the high desert area of the country, it's much the same. It's hot. It's humid (humidity is relative. Really, that's why weather folks call it - or used to - "relative humidity." 😏). The Monsoons rush through with wind, clouds, and sometimes rain. And, life seems to have slowed down.

I feel lazy, and not the least bit energetic or enthusiasm for anything.

Dog days, huh?
It's been a weird Summer. I'm usually out, going to the lake and stuff. We were going to try camping in a tent and all that. Everything was scraped off because of COVID-19.
I'm mostly indoors except from a quick run in the morning and a walk in the early evening. I've become a fucking greenhouse plant.
I'm telling you that these pictures are making me everything but lethargic, though...
Yum

XOXO

Summer is pleasant only on vacation. In Milan the heat is overwhelming. In early August, I will go on vacation, but I wish it was already September.

All I can say is, Chill (literally and figuratively) and relax. Thanks for an entertaining post today.

In French we don't have the expression "dog days", but we do have "un temps de chien 'a dog's weather)" when there is a storm, with wind and rain, or other weathers not allowing to let a dog stay outside.

Remember when I opened my Facebook and found it mixed up with someone else's account who, like me, could run the whole thing? It was probably too complicated to sort it out and give everyone back what they were owed, and they found it more restful to say that I had broken their rules. Doing what? Mystery. And now, I can't even create a new Facebook or visit any Facebook.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

@ Rick - not even to wank... I admit it's bad.

Hot and humid? That means time for a swim. Bring every item of clothing you were born in.

When I was a teenager, we used the same area, often the same days, for wrestling (still naked) and circle jerks (better believe we were naked).
