Imagine

Beside the things mentioned yesterday, many posts here are intended for encouraging men to shed body shame.
Many a millennia ago, man found a way to cover himself using animal skins. Clothing's original intent was to protect against the elements (rain, wind, cold) and the environment (underbrush, low-lying branches, thorns).

Somewhere along the line, we fell to the influences of "prophets" and the like who spread the idea that the body is shameful, that it should be covered at all times.
Just as women are instructed to be proud of their breasts, to enhance then in many ways, men should be proud of what they've been born with.

The newest bra commercial has women use their arms to create more and deeper cleavage and then shake their breasts at the camera, and push the breasts out front and shimmy or suggestively shake their hips. Imagine the reaction to a similar commercial for men's briefs hitting the airwaves.

Guys, you have nothing to be ashamed about. This is what you were born with.
Be proud of it.

Well, I have nothing to add!
It’s a pity that society makes us ashamed of our own bodies. Really.
And I’d like to play with that guys Yellow Submarine! 😎

XoXo

I love being outside in the sun with not many people around - like minded people, that is. I don't know about walking down the street that way... but, more power to them!

You said "We fell to the influences of "prophets" and the like who spread the idea that the body is shameful, that it should be covered at all times."

I agree totally but I add "and whatever is the ambient temperature. And this is how they decimated entire populations who could not stand clothing in the high heat of the jungle saturated with humidity, for example in Amazonia or Papua."

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

Well, to be fair, nearly every culture in Earth apparently covers the glans, either by covering the penis or tying the foreskin forward.

Regardless, I did have an interesting encounter yesterday. I was going to the store and I had to piss, so I pulled into this skate park. (For those unfamiliar, when going to the store in this heat, I take off my shirt while driving and then put it back on when I get there.) So I put on a mask and went to the men's room and saw a similarly-attired man at the urinal. He took this time to practice.

Anyway, he was impressed with my size. We later sent pictures of our erections to each other, next to rulers. When this pandemic's over, I might have a new jack off bud.

It's difficult to be proud of something that is less substantial in an environment where comparison and "bigger is better" is still the norm.

Doesn't matter how often anyone says "its what you do with it that counts": they are fooling themselves that size doesn't still matter as it is promulgated everywhere in advertising. Even your own blog celebrates size by making > 6" the norm and preferencing show-ers over grow-ers.

It's understandable, because we are still largely governed by our biology with its animal hierarchies, mate selection processes and competition.

Size will continue to matter until competition ceases to be a way of structuring society and we stop focusing on differences, because the diverse are just as important as the norms.

@ Anon, 6:20pm - One must also consider that in the majority of photos - both professional and amateur and selfies alike - that the cocks are at least heading toward erection, chubbed and lengthened. Fully soft, none of them would be all that impressive. Though, you're correct: It's what we all love to see and fantasize over.
