You all know - at least I think you do - that in a past life, many years ago when dirt was young, I was a dancer for a short while. After the military until age caught up to me. And then the M.D. took it away completely. French Patrick has sent me many a photo to remind me of the days.
Despite the brevity of that time in my life, I do look back with fondness.
Faithful Reader Adam has just introduced me to Antonio Da Silva and his latest film entitled Dancers. I wish I could post it right here for you to watch but, alas! all I can do is post a link to it on Da Silva's website. It's a very sensuous and erotic strip routine.
While I can say I never popped wood on stage, I can say I know it happens to some guys.
I hope you enjoy it!

Knowing your enthusiasm for mostly-naked men, I suspect your main reason for being a dancer was to prance around wearing briefs or a gold lamé jockstrap in public!

When looking in the rear-view mirror to remember our past, it is wise to choose the best memories.
Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
I too was a dancer many years ago. I performed with several companies over a 23 year period. I loved it, although it was a lot of hard and physical work. Most people don't understand how much energy goes into training and practicing each day. They only see the results, which is kind of the point...making the difficult look easy. ;)
Once im home I have to watch this...watching male dancers is so beautiful and very sensual and erotic. That one picture of the guy dancing with no bottoms and a button down shirt is hot!!!
I would have loved to seen some of your dancing.
Thanks for the link!
men who dance are so hot.
XOXO
What a lovely post.
It takes a lot of physical strength to make dance look so easy and beautiful.
Hope you're staying cool. Hugs and bisous.
I love to dance. Miss it very much. The other day I was at my Mom's for a visit and drifted off into a daydream as I went through each movement when I danced Scaramouche in the Sleeping Beauty ballet. In that moment, I felt like Anne Bancroft in A Turning Point. LOL. Bittersweet, those days... Thanks for the memories. Kizzes.
I didn't know you were a dancer!
@ Paul - LOL. I can say a jockstrap would be much more preferable to a dance strap. But, I must say, the landscapes had some beautiful sights.
@ Mr Gay - That is the goal, isn't it? For any creative performances, really. Make it look natural and easy.
@ Jean - That it does. To have such control over the muscle takes a lot of daily practice. But it was always a joy for me. Hugs and bisous.
@ Upton - I loved every minute of it. Yep, as we age out it can oftentimes leave us with that emotion. Kisses!
@ Mistress and @ Six - Awww, thanks! XOXO
Yeah, French Patrick's cool 👍🏻
And so are these dancers 🙂
@whkattk: For some reason I'm now thinking of Lakota war dances, some of which were performed completely nude, or with the foreskin tied. (Catlin shows what I'm talking about in some of his Mandan paintings.)
