"Any of your readers have experience with roommates? I advertised for a roommate at the gym and got several calls. One actually showed for an interview and we recognized each other and he agreed to the rules and moved in. He's obviously straight he brings home and bangs enough women for it to be otherwise. He parades around the house naked with a semi all the time just like he does at the gym. Not that I'm complaining he's got a great body and a great dick. I'd be happy to join in but what if my dick gets hard? I don't want to offend him. How do I manage this?"
He wanders around with a semi-boner and you're worried? Is he supposed to believe his gets hard but yours doesn't?
Guys have cocks. Cocks get hard. I know, blows the mind, doesn't it?
How do you manage it? You get naked. What if your cock gets hard? You manage that by not pointing it out. If he's as straight as you say, I seriously doubt he's going to be ogling your boner.

I have never had roomies and thus no experience with roomies.
Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
Sometimes those straight guys like having a gay roommate for the down-low benefits.
I don't know.
The roomie seems to be comfortable with his body, but the wandering around naked? I don't know.
I would do nothing and let the guy decide for himself if he's heteroflexible. I'd rather have the part of the rent than reach for dick and get nothing.
XOXO
Just because one is active with women doesn't mean he wouldn't enjoy men. Most guys are not either or. If he runs around naked he may want our hero to make a move. It could be he is proud of his dick and is inviting you to be proud of yours. My straight room mate always wanted a blow job right now.
no experience, but is he a bit exhibitionnist?
Pat, good lessons in common sense, L O L. And apparently the roommate is not concerned about his semi.
Hugs and bisous.
My roommate, an old friend from high school, needed a place to live after a divorce. Our schedules were kind of opposite from each other at first, but when that changed we suddenly realized that there was someone else in the house when we would normally be naked. I caught myself running back into my bedroom to get clothes and later I laughed when I saw him doing the same thing. We talked about it and approached it a little at a time (or a little less clothing at a time). Eventually, we went on a trip together and neither one of us had pj’s or bed clothes and didn’t think about it until we got to the hotel after dinner. We laughed about, got undressed, and never worried about it again.
@ Xersex - it's certainly possible.
@ Six - Only way they're gonna find out is if they let it all hang out, so-to-speak. Doesn't have to be any groin grabbing just because they're naked around one another, though. XOXO
@ Jean - apparently not - as it should be. LOL. Hugs and bisous.
@ Anon - See? You're a prime example of the way to handle being naked around others. Bravo!
Wouldn't surprise me if his roommate would jack off with him sometime. In my two roommate set ups, we didn't have sex, but at some point, we did jack off together. One was straight I lived with, and another roommate, years later was gay.
So much fuss about a little bit of fabric and the natural human body: the Victorian era has a lot to answer for.
The tragedy is that human beings have reduced sexual signals down to whether you see any naked flesh or not, instead of, I don't know, asking someone if they would like to party. Hence nudity is taken as a signal for sex, when it shouldn't be, however it may be an internal signal for sexual arousal, which has nothing to do with whether a person actually wants to engage in sex.
Despite their flaws, women have at least made the idea of consent and seeking consent for sex mainstream instead of relying on semaphores of grunts and glimpses of naked flesh.
seems to me the new roommate is an exhibitionist and there's nothing wrong with that in my mind. Enjoy the show for awhile and then start your own practice of being naked. You could even do it in stages with wearing a T-shirt and underwear, then no underwear, then nothing. Enjoy the camaraderie!
Re-read the questions and realized he was concerned about getting hard. As for my old high school roommate and I, it happened a lot for several months because it was new, exciting, and freeing. At first there were some apologies, but we both laughed those off too. It happens, no big deal.
@ Anon, February 17, 2022 at 11:22 - You're right. Society cannot seem to get past the idea that naked does not mean sex. That an erection is not always sexual arousal.
If you get hard you get hard. You both have the same parts that do the same thing.
When I had a guest at the house staying for a few months we asked each other about nudity and we had no issues with it. At first it was just getting use to having another person in the house then we had the talk. We both slept naked, we both went gym together and we had the same parts.
After that we stopped trying to covering up. We would walk around naked. The only rule we had was whoever woke up first had to go wake the other up and almost always we both had a hard dick every morning. We didnt care if we saw each other with a hard dick.
It's been a long time since I had a straight roommate but I would freely walk around naked around my last one. And he became more comfortable being naked in front of me. No full on boners in front of each other; just two guys being naked in the same ways that you would be naked in a locker room.
Now if he had made a move on me to jack together or more...well, I would have joined in! LOL!
