Tom Brady, retired (for good this time, he claims), former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, has caused a real stir on the internet by posing in his new self-named brand (Brady) boxer briefs...
Yet, his "Thirst Trap" selfie got plenty of attention with varied reactions. Everything from "Dad put your clothes back on" to "Damn Tom, what in the only fans you doin'?" and "Takes a lot of balls (no pun intended) for a former nfl player to do this."
Um....
If one of the U.S.' premier athlete is that ashamed of his natural equipment, one wonders how shy he was in the locker room all those years.
He's not helping men at all.
Men need to set a positive example of no shame.

Tom is just as covered in his boxer briefs as he would be in a trunk swim suit. I would be showing my bod if it looked that good. Mine doesn't and I still show my bod.

I think there are two camps, the folks that just don't care and get on with whatever they're doing, and all the others. There are lots of men who are simply not comfortable being naked.

I have no idea why everyone thought the Brady selfie was so scandalous?!? It was anything but. People need to loosen up if they thought I guy in his underwear with a hand covering his dick was racy!!! They need to get out more.
I guess underwear must be a racy subject yet around, let alone nudity for christ sake.
I had a friend years ago who covered locker rooms for sports features, and in many of them, he said, you tell tell guys rushed getting dressed after showers, or getting into uniforms. Not many stood around naked. What is everyone so uptight about?
Anybody else remember Oriole pitching legend Jim Palmer’s underwear ads? I don’t recall any pouch-covering. That was 40 or so years ago. Have we really gotten so squeamish about male anatomy? Not exactly progress.

@ Maddie - Rushing to get dressed or into uniform doesn't seem radically off - but hiding under a towel to pull on the briefs or the jockstrap so no one catches a glimpse of cock is ridiculous. It's just a damn shame that these guys are so ashamed of what they were born with.
@ Anon - Sometimes I think we're going backward faster than anyone realized. Not progress at all when a guy is too ashamed to be seen in underwear.
My opportunities to avail myself of locker rooms come infrequently (mostly at spas during vacations), but when I do I will undress at a locker and traverse the ground between showers, sauna, hot tub without covering up. The towel is for sitting on or for drying off with, not to pretend I’m built any different than the other guys.
