Happy Fat Tuesday.
Typically, for Catholics, anyway, it's the last day to indulge before giving up something you favor for Lent; the period of days (weeks) before Easter. In New Orleans, it's Mardi Gras and time to gather beads by flashing the boobs.
Or the boner.
I'm sure you all can find something fun to indulge in no matter where you might reside.
Whatever you choose to indulge in,
enjoy the day.

Last Saturday we held our annual Mardi Gras dinner. Everyone only wore strings of beads around their neck. Can not get much more decadent than that. Am giving up abstinence for Lent.
Oh yes. Catholicism.
As a recovering Catholic Ash Wednesday does bring back memories.

Plump Monday turned into Fat Tuesday turned into Puffy Wednesday turned into Bloated Thursday, turned into Obese Friday - passed gas on Saturday and went to church on Sunday.
Here in PA we had Fasnacht Day today!!!!!
Shockingly I have never had the desire to go to New Orleans or Mardi Gras. Way to much chaos for me.
