Content Warning

Two of my old, old, old posts were deleted due to "malvertisements" -- in other words they contained links to websites that may now have malware embedded in them. That's a good catch and I don't mind at all. I do want to protect my readers from computer viruses.

But then.... Blogger sends me emails that 15 posts were put behind "Sensitive Content Warning" to warn readers.

LOL How ridiculous, since all posts are behind that and readers must click through. Hell, I have to click through it, even though I'm logged in to create content.

Either there are some really ignorant people reviewing blogs, or the algorithms are totally screwed up that they can't detect the extra click required for access

to adult content.

Why not both? Ugh. Blogger.

And that daddy asking me to give him stealthy head? Yes.

XOXO

I went through a similar thing months ago. Over 30 posts... I just stopped counting. They were all reinstated as is. I don't know why they bother? I supposed someone complained - you know a troll - but maybe it was just someone justifying their salary? New look for your blog? It's very refreshing and I love the header.

I confirm, having experienced this inconvenience on several occasions and I chose not to take it into account because it only affects a paltry percentage of the 1,754 pages I have published and, moreover, it only takes a click to override. When they delete an element only, a photo or a video, it is enough to re-upload it for hear not about it again. To their credit, they are just complying with stupid regulations imposed on them.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean & Pat.

My God Pat are you trying to get me overheated with this post!!?

Some days I cannot figure out blogger. It's puzzling as to why old comments from years ago still show up and spam, and I still can't figure out why some days I can absolutely not access sixpence blog and sicko Ricko's blog. It's such a pain in the ass. When I click on the continue button because of the adult warning for some reason some days it will not absolutely let me pass it.

Yeah, unfortunately... Even though we love it, Blogger can be a mess sometimes 🤷‍♂️

@ Maddie - Well, that's why there was the content warning! 🤣🤣🤣

Oh, I have that problem sometimes trying to access my OWN blog. Ridiculous, ain't it?

@ Upton - Thank you!
Yeah, I chose to just leave them the way they were. We'll see what happens.

@ MFP - Annoying, thought, isn't it? Hugs and bisous.

@ Hot guys - It's very much a love-hate relationship with Blogger.

I think both!

@ Jean - This is much better than being shut down, that's for sure. I couldn't imagine starting over after 13 years of information being deleted. Hugs and bisous.

@Maddie: when it occurs just go to the History menu of your browser and select Delete History. It'll solve the issue and will allow you to go past the warning button.

Overall, we all got used to these occasional erratic behaviors from the blogger platform.
Lately there was this little change to the picture uploading tool, not for the best. Fortunately someone at Blogger realized it was not an improvement and decided to roll back to the more efficient version.
Some old comments suddenly being re-attributed as spam, and that was totally ridiculous...
And the blogs on which we - at least I, for one - cannot comment under our own account, forcing us to fill-in a name and a site URL in order to avoid the "Anonymous" origin. That's the case whenever I comment on your blog, Maddie.
Now these "malvertisements". Even more ludicrous.
But who are we to complain: if I were to walk in Google's shoes I'd simply answer "Hey guys, our platform is totally free of charge, user-friendly and WYSIWYG as there is not a bit of coding skill required. I think you can bear with a little glitch here and then, can you not?"
And they would be right, don't you think?
