Yesterday being Mother's Day here in the U.S., the wife's family gathered for the afternoon. Once the initial greetings had been made and everyone settled in, everyone wanted to know why my BIL and his wife didn't have the oldest son in tow. Apparently, he was being moody, and surly. In other words, quite typical behavior for a young man his age, about to head off to college this Fall.

@ O!Daddie - I think most sons are afraid to talk about these things with a parent. This is why it is important to be open and honest. My BIL openly admits he jacks off, has said so in front of his oldest son. That alone opens the door for conversation. I think too many wait for their children to come to them to ask questions, rather than parents seeking a way to begin a dialogue.
