I'd Rather

I heard there was some kind of game on yesterday.
Something about East v West, something about "Patriots" (though, lately that word can bring some scary images to mind).
Huh. I, however, went to a book reading/signing.
Yes, that's me; I rather...
read a book, watch a film, or head to the theatre; all while naked if I could.

My "Super Bowl" will be coming up toward the end of this month. Oscar Weekend is a big deal around here. Though, this year, we're a little disappointed in the final pics in the Best Film category we'll see everything nominated in a major category. Then on Oscar day, it's party time and a contest to see who scores the most correct wins.

What would you rather do?

For us living in New England, was just another normal end to the football season...

There were several wonderful spreads of Ron Gronkowski for the Sports Illustrated naked athlete edition, and I think he posed for an issue of GQ. Net: MEATY MAN!

Alas - glad it's over - time to think Spring.

Never been interested in football. Used to be passionately interested in the Oscars (and movies in general), but that has waned over the past several years. Still, anything to do with the performing arts is inherently interesting, in my book.

Hope you are doing better!

Geez after the big game with a 3-0 score at halftime, zzzzzzz. I’ll try the Oscars. Always have to wait until next day here. Hugs and bisous.

Skip the SOTU speech and watch the Response instead.

Bryn and I spent yesterday reading...we are both murder mystery fans. Now if there had been a ballroom dance exhibition on we would have been glued to the TV.

I celebrate the Tony's - the theater is the best escape in the world, at least in my opinion. Hope you enjoy the Emmy's! Thanks for a fantastic site BTW - you have potentially educated more folks on men's health than the magazine of the same name.

I would rather spend time not even thinking about the Super Bowl than watch it. I only used to watch it for the halftime and the commercials. But recently the commercials are boring and halftime sucks. I loved the performers Cloe x Halle singing "America the Beautiful." Gladys KILLED IT on The Star Spangled Banner." But I already knew she would ! But then the creative team had to mess even that good thing up by not showing the singers performing so we could see mountains, outdoor flowers and the stadium!? WTF !

I like Maroon 5 so I kinda anticipated the halftime...........BORING ! Adam Levin. You are still KINDA cute but taking off the shirt and all those damn tattoos ???? NASTY! I never thought I'd say this but PLEASE leave your clothes on when performing anything and anywhere.

Commercials since those three highlights were thew only thing I care to watch I can't comment on the commercials. Although the ones I saw were BORING!!!!!!! The only commercial I thought was classic was the one with all the famous football players tearing it up at the event . I had to rewind that a few times. TOO Crunked! LOL

By the way who was playing? LOL

@ Gaynboston - Yep, the Tony's are another special day in our house. The Emmy's not so much....

Oh, why thank you! That's very kind of you.

@ jean - Exactly! We'll tune in for the Response but not the SOTU - it'll be filled with BS, anyway.

They played like the winner had to suffer through meeting Trump. Also, no Spongebob "Sweet Victory". F

Funny as it may seem, sports still isn't the srs bzns it was in ancient Greece.
