Explain Wet Dreams

"How do you explain wet dreams to a 11 year old?"

How would you explain them to any young kid? With complete candor. In the most basic terms: A wet dream is when you ejaculate semen during sleep.

Look, erections occur numerous times each night. The harder they get, the more sensitive they get.

All it takes is one of those boners to be stimulated by any means to cause an ejaculation.

For boys your son's age, it doesn't even require dreaming about sex. The first wet dream is the body’s way of telling us everything is ready on the launch pad. That missile has already fired ammo. It’s all working the way it’s supposed to, right?

Time to teach him he might be able to stop the wet dreams by jacking off. No guarantees, of course, because even adults have wet dreams. But, there you have it. It’s up to you to make sure he knows it’s normal, healthy, and nothing to be ashamed about at all.

It’s also time to make sure isn’t wearing anything below the waist when he sleeps.

Well, actually, it’s way past time for that.

Better to have cum on the sheets

than deal with a busted boner.

I still remember my first one. I woke up and thought I wet the bed, but then saw this white creamy liquid and then really panicked. It wasn't till weeks late a friend filled me in.

I remember my first morning wood. I don't remember my first wet dream, though. I heard about sex from older boys and I started having sex very young, so I had seen other boys cum. I knew what it was and all I wanted was to have more of it.
I have not had a wet dream in years. I've woken up fully aroused, but I had not cum in my sleep in FOREVER. Oh, to be a teen.
Not everybody has a trusty source of info, though. I think fathers should have 'the talk' early. And that 'the talk' should cover wet dreams as well as basic sex info.

XOXO

I remember those with fondness. It's been a very long time.

All is fine, your reader can only rejoice that his couple produced a perfectly functioning boy.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat. Have a great weekend.

Teach your son about masturbation-- it's the only way to keep the sheets clean. However-- once he knows he can have fun by rubbing it, his pillow cases will never be the same! (:

I'm kinda weird. I was already masturbating, with dry orgasms, but still had wet dreams frequently. I guess my balls were just busy.

Why is telling a kid about a wet dream and the natural operation of his sexual body so different from explaining urination and defecation?

By preparing youngsters with knowledge about normal functions (before they happen, if at all possible) we not only reduce anxiety, but also help ensure every individual reaches their potential and pick up any aberrations early, instead of falling through the cracks.

As a society, we need to become more proactive and less reactive about many things.

Yes, this should be every parent's responsibility to let their sons know that all is well. The Taoists did it thousands of years ago. What happened?? Man became more intellectual but lost a lot of wisdom in doing so. I myself was told of these things by my mother. Very embarrassing, as I already knew what it was. But still, she did it. Good post.

I was the only boy with 4 other sisters. My father who worked hard to provide for the family became sick in my early years somehow forgot to tell me of erections and masturbation. Being the shy person I was, I don't know if it would have been well received from me or hard for him to talk to me about it. When my parents separated for a number years my self and 2 sisters lived with my mother. Around 5th or 6th grade, my urges grew. So secretly I fucked my pillow when the urges grew. One day it happened, the thick creamy white stuff that came out felt awesome but I was Scared as hell. It was almost like "Carrie" the movie, when she got her period and new nothing about it. Not that bad, (lol) but I thought I ruined something and would have to go to a Dr. I remember older boys talking about cum and white stuff, but I was still on edge because of ignorance. All day long I was holding back my piss in fear of the white stuff coming out. It didn't, real piss came out I was relieved. Now, it was back to the pillows,, Wonder what my mother thought of the cum stains when washing. I got over it and adjusted. Wish someone had told me.
This subject took me back. I laugh about it and shake my head now. My 2cents

Just explain at puberty the testicles start producing sperms and the prostate starts producing that white sticky stuff, and keeps on doing that all the time. When it's full it has to be emptied somehow, either by a deliberate ejaculation or nocturnal emission. Even then, sometimes masturbation is not enough and wet dreams will still happen anyway. Introduce him to http://www.jackinworld.com/ too.
