"I grew up with a bunch of brothers who were jerking off all the time. I knew it and so did my parents that they would be doing it together but nobody ever said anything. Now we're all grown up and as the only girl in the fmaily I have to know why they still do it together despite the fac they're all married and have wives. Well all but one brother who lives in a nother state but when he visits I know they all get totgether to do it. Now I find out my husband has joined their little kabal. Can someone please tell me why grown ass married men do this?"
There's a certain bond formed between brothers that grows stronger as they share the pleasure of masturbation with each other down the line. That your brothers maintain that bond is laudable. Though you don't say it, I'd be willing to bet that when one brother needs help with anything the others are there.
There's a stronger sense of community among men who attend masturbation groups. And the organized ones (there are groups all over the world) report that 20% to 25% of their members are straight, married men.

I wish I had had a brother to teach me about the joys of masturbation sooner and when I came for the first time I hadn't broken my dick. A cousin taught me in a two seater outhouse at a family reunion. It would be interesting to find out how many other brothers or family members do this. I got together several times with some of my male cousins and one of the husbands of a female cousin would join in masturbating. Will have to ask my other half this evening if he ever did this with his two brothers.....Loved the picture of the group of gingers. Thank you.
Why do men jerk off? It's fun! And comparing notes with a brother or a buddy is even more fun!
I don't have a buddy to 'play' with; that's one thing I'd like to have!
Uh, your correspondent may not have known, but I'd bet her brothers and husband sometimes trade hands! Maybe more!
Because it's fun!
Well you know where I stand on that.I say if everyone's happy and they're strong bonds and no one's getting hurt, keep whacking!
When I was 13 my older cousin who was 15 taught me how to jerk off. His younger brother (who was 14) would join us in our jerk off sessions. Sometimes we looked at his dad's Hustler magazines and sometimes we just watched each other. We never touched each other, and nothing came of it beyond shooting our loads. Both were straight, got married and had kids. But it was a part of my sexual learning. Nobody ever talks about it now but there is still that silent bond.
It often starts in puberty. It can either end when they move out, end with marriage, or never end.
Friends and cousins as well.
Well I never had a brother close enough in age to do this but I jerked of with many friends growing up and well after I married my x wife. I came out as gay at 38 but ALL of the straight married men I jerked with really were straight. A couple of them have admitted that it made them better husbands, Dads and men. Two in particular had body image issues that improved after spending time naked with another dude. Its a healthy bond that hurts no one. Again, like you said, if the sex life of the married couple is good, this is just extra. He's going to jerk off anyway, who cares if he does it with some dudes and family is even better. Its safe. While many men do help each other out with it, most just share stories, fantasies and discuss things that they would NEVER have talked about if it weren't for these experiences. Trust me...its a GOOD thing!!
Being in my late 50-teens I am still baffled and confused that women, still today are baffled and confused about men their penis. Boys and men have been flying the plane by themselves for 1000's of years. We masturbate. Sometimes alone, with a partner or in a group. We can be married, divorced, single, in a relationship, we masturbate. It doesn't hurt anyone. It does not make us love our spouse/boy-girl friend any less or more. Curious if the husband in question has brothers? Guessing not and if the wife/sister knows of the J/O Kabal, not surprised the husband knew and was maybe invited. And by including in the group, they see him as one of them. So, take a breath confused wife/sister. It's only masturbation. They're not building a meth lab
Would you question a husband's habit of bonding with his best friends by watching sports while eating pizza, drinking Buds and enjoying shouting at each performance of the players on the field?
Probably not.
Would you rather use the occasion to go and have a fine time yourself with your own friends?
Probably yes.
See? It' as simple as this. (no need to thank me, I grew up with 4 brothers and 2 sisters).
P.S.: just because you are not part of their circle (pun intended) doesn't mean your husband cares for you less. On the contrary: him knowing that you know while letting him this liberty sure makes him respect you even more. @ Laurent - What an excellent response. I will buy a copy of that book when you've finished it. 😎
uhhh, what? Oh yes, what was the question? Sorry, I got distracted by the redheads in the last pic. Brothers?? This falls into the category of men being men. And I think a lot of women simply don't know a lot about how men think, because they never were that interested. Women tend to obsess about everything that is female and male relationships, starting with they are from Mars. Read Cosmopolitan some day.
Happy Weekend and hope the upstate New Yorkers dig out by Thanksgiving. hugs and bisous.
She's jealous and angry. And jealous. And angry.
It's not a competition. We just see our JO buds as friends as a rule.
As I said, it begins during or even before puberty and can continue for life.
Just male psychology.
OK, cool. My question is how did the brother-in-law get involved? I think it's great that the brothers include the brother-in-law into the family, but how did it start? Did the brother-in-law "accidently" discover the "activity"? Did it come up (pun intended) in casual conversation? Or was it a direct invitation, like, at Thanksgiving dinner one of the brothers saying, "Dud, after we finish the turkey, all of us brothers are going out to the garage to whip one off. Wanna join?"
nothing to add, personally, being an only child. But it seems nornal
Family fun. Some things one just never grows out of... :)
Blanches at Thanksgiving.

@ Anon, November 21, 2022 at 9:38 AM - I hear that. The entire idea of giving thanks is a good one. But rooted in the White Washing that has been handed down as the "traditional belief" is ridiculous. To give thanks, we should all be doing something to help the Land Back efforts.
They still do it as its something they all share in common no matter what way they go. They all have one and they all do it. If they are that comfortable with each other then leave it be. Guys will see it as an activity with nothing else behind it.
The recruiting bit, it just happens. I got recruited into my partner and his dad's activities together with no real defining moment of how. Its just something that we can all do together.
People are all different.
