Cloudy, Rainy Days

Good morning.

It's another cloudy, drizzly day.

The outside edge of rains that have been pummeling So Cal leaves a small dose here in the high desert.

Time to pick out some music.

Then snuggle down with a good book ---

--- which maybe gives Cassidy Hutchinson's Enough a shot at another try. It's not very well written, in my opinion. If I still can't forge through, there's always lounging around enjoying the music.

What do you do on cloudy, rainy days?

Good morning high desert people. The atmospheric river pummeling SoCal is also making its way up to my Pacific Northwest, making for gray, rainy days in a row. I don't mind the rain(filling the lakes and reservoirs, making Spring plants thrive) but its limiting of outdoor activity(yardwork and clean-up) is a negative. These days are perfect for several cups of coffee and watching the classic movies from the 30s to the 50s on VHS tape, of which I have collected 350 tapes. The quality isn't as sharp as when I purchased them but they're still fun to watch. It's like being in a 50s movie theater when the quality of the film wasn't much better. Sweet memories of the Rio Theater in the small town I called home. located on the Columbia River in North Central Washington. Have a good one, Pat and Jean

Oh I love good rainy days, I usually have movie marathons. Our weather right now is getting sunny and warmer. I'm adoring that guy in front of the bookcase with his plaid shirt and his ass and cock out for all to see. What a sexy picture.

I have no choice, regardless of the weather, I have to take my dog out several times a day (at least six times a day to tell you everything) so that he can relieve himself by relieving his needs. It's not very romantic, less than your illustrations, but he is twelve years old and it takes what it takes.

Hugs and kisses, my dear Jean and Pat.
Good luck waiting for the good weather to come back. We know this won't last forever.

Today was a day off, also cloudy with scattered rain.
I realize that I spent it like probably many retired single people do : running some errands at the grocery store, treating myself with cooking a fine lunch, opening a bottle of Bourgogne, and watching a couple of episodes from some stupid series, until my optician sent me a text saying my new glasses were ready to pick up - I cannot thank enough the health insurance provided by my company, for once again it covered the whole expense.
I wish my day had put me on the path of a puppy as cute as the one from the story Rick posted earlier this week. There would have been no need for the help of a shelter. And the only thing that keeps me from adopting one is to think that I would leave it alone for hours when I go to work. Sigh...

Just like you, I read or/and listen to music.
I also suddenly realize I have plants in the house and do some pruning.
It was 60 degrees here today. In the Midwest. In February. Fucking global warming.

XOXO

I read “Enough” at least the first 1/3 of the book was pretty slow and then it began to pick up steam it got more interesting once her office was in the WH. BTW the Republican House has asked her to “preserve all her documents”, it looks like she is going to be the next person they are going to try to discredit and smear. Hugs and bisous.

I usually read, but with such men, a rainy day would be so full of pleasure!

Love to read with no pants on. Lots of rain in SoCal, but no damage in my area, just wet! Good book, coffee, a cat, music, and no pants!
