Happy Equinox

Morning

Happy Spring Equinox

To readers in the Northern Hemisphere.

"The time when a young man's fancy turns to thoughts of love."

The libido kicks into Extra High gear.

And it makes me eager for pool time.

Or better yet, lounging on a nude beach.

Happy Friday!

The More You Use It

Everything you wanted to know about Penis, but not really. This Healthline article "Is the Penis a Muscle or an Organ and 9 Other Facts" covers the very, very basics. But, I thought, what the heck, why not post it here?

Regardless of what author Adrienne Santos-Longhurst indicates regarding the "Use It or Lose It issue," she is not a medical professional (nor does she have personal experience), but we can agree that the more you use it, the better.

It helps keep you healthy and, in return, it remains healthy and usable.

Quite the Conundrum

Low T (testosterone) levels have a detrimental effect on Libido. Women are being treated with low doses for the problem. Doing an internet search one can find thousands of articles on natural libido boosters. Here's one via Healthline, Men's Health: "7 Foods and Supplements That Work Like Viagra."
But there are other boner killers that this and many of the articles don't mention. One of the most common is stress. I hear some of you asking, "If stress is killing my boners, how can I de-stress by masturbating?"

Quite the conundrum, isn't it? Jacking off is a common way that men reduce stress. But, if stress is prohibiting a proper rise, what's a guy to do?
Pinpoint the culprit of stress. Remove it as best you can. Barring the ability to do so, here are some suggestions:

1. Exercise. And you don't even have to join the gym. Yep, a good old fashioned workout. Push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, anything that gets you moving and your heart rate up.

2. Yoga. Basic, beginner's yoga can have quite a calming effect. So calming in fact that this stress-reducing, boner-booster can have an immediate effect.

3. Massage. Get a nice, gentle, soothing massage. And, like yoga, this can have a relaxing enough effect to reward you while you're on the table. (The happy ending is optional depending upon the therapist - but one should never ask for it or expect it.)

Removing and reducing stress = Boner Boost

It's A Myth

It's a total myth that men are horny 100% of the time. It's only 99%. LOL. Jean has sent a link to a very interesting article from the UK Daily Mail about women's low libido. (Why is it that our papers here in the US don't write about these things on a regular basis?) And, ironically, those same symptoms are what causes guys to lose interest, too.

Lose interest in sex? Men? Yes, we do. It's okay to admit it. We should admit it. It's to our benefit to admit it. Let go of that machismo attitude and say it. We go through life changes and challenges that can totally affect our interest in sex. Dr. Rachel Carlton Abrams describes low libido as a "lack of spontaneous desire for sex" that includes masturbation.

Her eight reasons are: Repressed sexuality (upbringing); low body confidence (low self-esteem in appearance); previous trauma or bad sexual experience (molestation, or a really bad early experience); painful sex (overly sensitive glans, or testicular pain during ejaculation); low testosterone; underlying medical issues (remember boners are our barometer); stress and being "too busy" (self-explanatory); lack of trust (we have lost trust in our partner(s).

Each and every one of those can (and do) cause a low sex drive in anyone - man or woman. There are no resolutions offered in her article. But suffice it to say that a lack of interest is a health issue - whether mental or physical - and you should see your doctor.
Speak openly, frankly, and work together to solve the problem.

Then get back on that horse, whatever your preference for release.
