Mapplethorpe didn't photograph only men, or male nudes. His work encompassed women and inanimate objects as well.

Totally forgot about the doctor appointment this morning. But, here are some photos, some of which may be reminiscent of Mapplethorpe's work.

great set!
When it's possible, you should maybe have to accept this kind of invitation on a Ball Check's day, this can help you. In France we used to say that we must make a knot at our handkerchief as a reminder. With the success of the tissues, this is out of use, but the expression stayed.
I wish you a wondrous day and a new doctor appointment, mon chéri, by sending you a lot of bisous.
Many hot pix today! I hope it went well with the doctor!
Thanks again for the Mapplethorpe work! The others are great too. The old black & white photography can be just so wonderful as is the vary old sepia nude work. Hugs across the oceans, Patrick
Marvelous selections! Such an amazing artist. Love the flower. Good look at photos inspired by his work. Wishing you a bonerific day, bro. Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM
Wow! Beautiful photos and subjects. Wonder if any of these guys were made famous from his pics.
His men were certainly more famous. At the time, most people's first exposure, pardon the pun, to the gay BDSM scene. He was somewhat pigeonholed as 'artistic gay porn'
He Created some AMAZING images. thanks for the share. A Special thanks for the guy tied in the white with the ear phones on. That is HOT!
Beautiful photography!
