There May Be Long Lines

One day closer. There has been a lot of voter suppression, voter intimidation, and voter litigation. All very silly, actually, because no one knows for whom those ballots will be - or have been - cast.
Early voting ended here on Friday.

I know many Faithful Readers have already voted. But, if you haven't and your state continues early voting today, get out and vote. Or plan your vote for tomorrow.

There may be long lines
don't let that stop you.
Grab a friend and get out there.
These guys serve
to protect your rights.
The most important right you have is to vote.
Don't let them down!

GO VOTE

As a Canadian, I'm flabbergasted about such savage behaviors against voters and voting places. Nothing compare to our own elections here in Canada.

Most outrageous is, in some states, the right to bare guns when going to vote.
Is USA still a farwest country, none civilized ?

All this seeing how the Republicans of DJT are spreading hate and bad behaviors all around USA.

They said in some surveys that the most fanatic people of DJT are the less educated white men. Not surprising, DJT is himself uneducated and ignorant.

Time to get the garbage out of the White House.
Canadians are praying for it.

His idea of blocking the financing of the Post proves, if it were necessary, that he places his interests above any moral or legal consideration.

In short, nothing new and nothing surprising.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
Good luck.

I am the son of a veteran. Along with the many life lessons I learned from him two things are front and foremost in my mind.
1. Vote. In every election. Be heard. My dad thought like Harry Truman...the pulling booth is the most valuable piece of real estate in the country.
2. Wear a poppy. It belongs over your heart...not on your collar, not on your hat. Please show a little respect for the people that have served and that are serving now.

@ JiEL - Yes, it is a mess because of his stupidity. Because he is stupid.
Thank you. We appreciate the prayers of Canadians.

@JiEL: o rly? Some Indians might disagree about "nothing like that"

And all education let's one do is know how to hide one's rabid lunacy. I can guarantee you there are highly educated racists as well.

Basically what happened was that Hillary Clinton had no idea what actual Democrats looked like and tried to win the country club set. This was made worse because Bill Clinton impaled the labor movement in the rise garden thanks to NAFTA and his capitulation to Deng Xiaoping. So you have people in industrial states voting for Trump because the alternative meant their annihilation. And centrists are so narcissistic that they couldn't see this. (So they conclude that these states are the truly racist ones and there's no racism in Dixie. But then, given Bill Clinton's history on race...)

Friends don't let friends snort Koch, but Koch Dems like the Clintons would be amazing lolcows if they weren't so damned abusive toward real Democrats. Their latest thing is believing the guy who have us Sarah Palin when he says he hates Trump.
