Jab #2 happened yesterday.
Expect the worst, hope for the best.
Sort of like expecting the cock not to work
but holding out hope, anyway.
So you can have a little "me time."
1st Jab hit me like a truck. This morning: a very sore arm, tired, a little achy, headache.

Isn't it "Prepare for the worst"? (like in "Just in case") But hope for the best, because that is what keeps us going.

Hope it won't last longer than after the first injection. And above all that the vaccine is as effective as it is lasting.

YEAH!!! Both my husband and I got our second shots. He had the Pfeizer vaccine; after the second shot, about 48 hours later he got a little flu-like symptoms, but they cleared up. I had the Moderna, other than a sore arm where the gorilla with the syringe stuck me, I had no other side effects...
Other than the INCREDIBLE urge to go out and have someone ELSE cook me dinner and a serve me a martini.

Hopefully it's not as bad as the first one. Everybody reacts differently, I guess. My friend got it and he only had a sore arm for like, a night. Then it was business as usual.
Yay for both doses though. This is when I'd like to be a teen: it seems the vaccine is super effective in them....
