The Insistent Boner

A couple Faithful Readers asked if it's known how or why men get Prostate infections. I've asked several doctors along the way. None has been able to offer an explanation as to why, or if some men are more prone to them than others. All any of them would say, in some way or another, is:
"More ejaculations will help in preventing infection."

Faithful Reader Mistress Maddie made a comment to yesterday's post that made me think to write about insistent boners. And, brother, do they happen!
2
Sometimes at the oddest moments. Like in a doctor's office.
3
Or the morning wood that doesn't subside, making it difficult to get the morning whizz started.
4
Or, such as the one I got during a sonogram of my balls. I thought once he was done running that lubricated wand around my nuts and moving my boner (for which he apologized to me) out of the way, that it would subside. Nope. He tossed me a scrub shirt and said to wipe up the lube. Then gave me a hand towel, "Here, use this if you need to. I'll go over to the computer until you're done." And I did. I had to.
5
I think all guys have experienced them; the erection that just won't dissipate.
6
It throbs, it twitches, and after a while it gets so hard it hurts.

When that happens, there's only one solution.

An erection that WOULD NOT go down was during chemo. I pushed it forward and held it there. I did all I could to get it down. I had no desire to masturbate. That's finally what I did. The cum felt like fire shooting through. What a shock that was. I told the oncologist about it. I'm not shy. He said he'd never heard of it. His nurse reminded him one other man had told a similar story. I suspect there are others too shy to talk about it. My wife was in the room. She was embarrassed.

This caught my eye and I like to add my five cents worth.
I have nothing against ejaulation, but every day?
I would edge for days (or do tantric)
Edging gets all the movement going in the prostrate area.
Also I am a strong believer in watch what you eat.
The more meat you eat (red), processed food and dairy, the more chance of problems.
Something to think about.
If you do not agree,,then move along

That's life. There are those who experience prolonged and painful erections of the penis which are unrelated to sexual activity (that is called the priapism, and it was, for example, the case of our French Emperor Napoléon III) and those who practise the edging so that that lasts longer.
I wish you a wondrou day, my love, with a lot of bisous where you guess, erected or not.

Great selection of images today! Keep well while I'm away! There is a post scheduled for each day that I'm away! Hugs, Patrick :-)

Do hand jobs solve the problem as well as sex? After watching so many "celibate " men last week, I wondered how they deal with this??

I have only uncontrolled erections only if I have a erotic dream. about erections, it doesn't happen to get them, unless I'm in a sexual situation. To tell the truth, I never had nocturnal emissions even when I was a teenager, probably because I masturbate enough.

Regular flow from the seminal vesicles highly recommended for prostate health. And mental health!

Many great pix!

@ Jean - Yes, a hand job certainly would take care of the problem. I'd be willing to bet that all those "celibate" men are either stroking alone or have a buddy for mutual relief. I wouldn't think the physiological functions of the male organs suddenly go defunct when one takes the vows. Though, Lord Patrick, who runs More of the Same and Paul, who runs Enhanced Masculinity, are both retired priests and could probably speak to that issue better than I. Paul has been facing some major health issues lately. But perhaps Lord Patrick would write up a Guest Post for me when he returns from his week's sabbatical.

@ Rock Hard - I can believe it, and chances are extremely great that many other men going through chemo have had the same experience...and are too embarrassed to speak up or ask, "Could this be an issue?" Sad, they allow embarrassment to get in the way of their health.
