Such senseless violence is again rocking the world. Blogs are paying tribute to the people of Brussels. Here at Big Whack Attack, I join them in wishing them peace and healing. We here in the U.S. know the physical and emotional hardship such attacks bring.

Every day we each have an opportunity to add some beauty to the world. Today we, mankind, are in arrears. The balance sheet is now negative. Somehow we have to change that. Thanks Pat for doing your part. "Beauty washes our eyes better than tears." Well said French Patrick.
There is great beauty in this blog. A philosopher once said truth is beauty and beauty is truth. I don't know but I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the incredible diversity of people means someone thinks each of us is beautiful in our own way. And that is just one more reason to say no to inhumanity.

Terrorists are guilty, it’s obvious, but our shameful passivity was their accomplice. We have let it happen, we let it go on, we are paying the price of this fault.
