Intimacy vs Fun

Fellow blogger AOM posted the quote,
"Once it's too late, you realize what a miracle life is." - Bill Watterson
Then our, very smart buddy responded, "Why wait?"
There are so many men who fear those thoughts of stroking one out with a buddy or two, who push back and deny the activity because they don't want to be labeled. Or fear the reaction of family as did one Faithful Reader who sent an email on the subject.
He grew up in an old-fashioned, religious atmosphere of sexual denial. He married, fathered a son and daughter, then told his wife of his interest in men. They remained together until her death - at which time he finally told his family, acted on his curiosities, and now has a husband. His family is thrilled for him - even his mother.
I've said my wife knew of my bisexuality before we were married. She wasn't surprised to learn of the Jack Off Group. Her annoyance stemmed from not being told when I was going. She asked me what I thought was a very strange question about the intimacy of it. My personal opinion: the deep, longing, loving kiss that accompanies sexual activity, that's true intimacy.

She was surprised to find that the guys in the group didn't kiss - ever. Because, I explained, it wasn't emotional, it wasn't intimate. It was a group of men - 95% of them straight, married men with families - who simply enjoyed the freedom to share a common activity without shame, without fear.
Yes, we grabbed onto one another's cocks - eagerly so at times.
But there were no emotional attachments being formed.
It was just ... fun.

So, getting naked and stroking one out with your buddies has nothing to do with intimacy. It's sharing the bond of manhood.
What constitutes intimacy for you?
Would you - or did you - wait to follow through?

What constitutes intimacy for me? I am profoundly disappointed. It sounds like you forgot our last meeting.
Nevertheless, I wish you a wondrous weekend, my darling with a lot of my most intimate bisous.

me too I love kisses, but for me the maximum of erotism is a mutual cum swallowing!

Interesting! Being "TOTALLY GAY", my 23 years with my lover were wonderful. Unfortunately he was 10 years older than me and had serious heart problems, with other health issues. Our sex was sporadic but good. Our kissing was marvellous. He was aware that I had sex with other men, but that made no difference to our loving relationship. It is ten years since he died, but there has been no one to take his place. I am still moved to tears when I think about him. True love is just so different to sex! Have a great weekend! Hugs, Patrick

Oh! If you want to use any of this feel free to do so!

I absolutely agree about the intimacy of kissing. I've also learned a couple of things:

People can accept most anything if it's not a surprise.
Folks who really love you only want you to be happy.

Happy weekend and no surprises!

Interesting. I tend to do it both ways, depending on what's available: I prefer to jerk off with old friends, but I can share a good monkey spank with guys at a club, or strangers who just want to see a dude charm a ten and a half inch, hooded snake. But that's because my wand so readily works its spell, whatever synonym you use.
