Cock: Acceptable Conversation

As our lovely Jean points out in her comment yesterday, men are much more complicated than we allow the Ladies to realize. Perhaps, even more than we are willing to admit to ourselves.

We guys close ourselves off. Too intimidated (?) to ask someone for help or advice - even our own doctors - when something doesn't seem "right." Even under Bar Rules, which demands any discussion not go further than those in attendance, we are afraid to open up even to the best of friends.

But, there are signs, albeit small, that things are changing with the younger generation. Surveys suggest they are more open, and, therefore, more knowledgeable. Take for instance, the group of U of Texas-Austin women who are using dildos to make a point about guns on campus, using the slogan "Cocks Not Glocks."

The pressure being put on the justice system to reign in sexual assaults and sex trafficking - which, by the way, happens to young men, too; we simply do not hear about it as much. Why, you ask? See paragraph two above!
Or watch the finale episode of The Closer, which bridged the changeover to Major Crimes with the recurring character of Rusty who was rescued from being pimped out.
Bravo! to Graham Patrick Martin for taking on such an important role.
The Information Age with its instant communication and 24-hour news cycle has helped to move things into acceptable conversation.

We've brought Morning Wood to the national consciousness,

how pissing can be difficult with an erection
9
that spontaneous boners happen
10
even past the raging hormone years
11
and the fact that masturbation is the most common sexual activity of all

Keep moving forward.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Perhaps things will eventually change! But not in my time, I think. Thanks for all that you do for us! Rest up and have a great weekend!

"Too intimidated (?) to ask someone for help or advice."

I remember at least 17 young guys who had no problem for opening up to me at once, no secret, no inhibition, no shyness, no shame and who asked me for advices about everything and anything.
Why? Because they knew me not, because they knew that they will never meet me, because they had no feeling for me, and above all because they didn't give a hoot about my possible jugement as regards their morality, their vicious fantasies, their hidden faults, and so on.
On the contrary, Christopher has never asked me for help or advice, and he shares only commonplace things of his everyday public life.

I explain nothing, I note. I am sure of nothing and I don't understand very well. I would have preferred the opposite which seems to me more logical and more normal, but that must be old-fashioned or something like that.

I wish you a wondrous day, mon chéri, as well as to our dear Jean who is much more and better than "lovely". Hugs and bisous, my friends.

Finally the weekend!!! Our election has gone from the absurd (we never had sublime) to the ridiculous. I have given up the news in favor of on-line shopping; It beats talking to the TV. I'll have to check out the movies this weekend. Hope you all are also out doing fun things.
Love you Pat and Patrick.

@ Jean - We intended to get out to see "Florence Foster Jenkins" but, as usual, got sidetracked with other things. We plan and they go awry once in a while. LOL. Hugs et bisous!
