"I'm sex positive." I've been seeing this phrase more and more in newspaper and magazine articles. But, what exactly does it mean?
It means that a person - male, female, trans, or whatever - can have a positive attitude toward sex in general. That's a good thing, right? We should all have a positive attitude about it.
But, as Allie Long, who blogs about sex, says in this article at Medium, it is not an open invitation for a dick date. She, of course, places some stereotypes on men: We're "insatiable" and open to getting our rocks off anywhere, anytime, with anyone.
Men's brains are wired differently. That wiring puts sex on the front burner for a couple of decades as nature entices the spreading our gene pool as far and wide as possible. That's just the honest-to-God truth.
Of course, things are much different today than a few-hundred-thousand years ago. In general terms, men need to learn that. One of the options to take care of the beast lurking in the bulge is to masturbate.
It's an option we discover before we're old enough to take responsibility for raising a family. It's an option we use even within relationships. It's an option that should be on the table without ridicule.
Tomorrow: An option more and more men are seeking out.

Masturbation is a good thing peroid.
Mornin' Bro! It is very important to overcome the fear of erotic energy which has and still plagues our culture - having a positive attitude toward our sexuality is important to our well-being. Have a bonerific day, my Friend. Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM
Good clean fun!
Well, if they want nude sculpture, they should not mind you being nude too! See my doctor tomorrow to get the results of tests.
"It's an option that should be on the table without ridicule." Hell yes!
One day folks will want to know what the big deal was with masturbation and why it was considered shameful and even sinful.
Hugs and bisous French Patrick.
I've never heard the expression before. Very interesting theories. As I get older I find myself more content to masturbate, also been single for quite sometime. I do find it odd that most of the men I "hook up" with are married "straight" men who enjoy men giving them head.
@ Tony - those are the married guys who enjoy a good blow job but whose wives won't give them. Now, if they engage in any reciprocal actions they're on the tipping point of the Bell Curve.
Ooohhh, I guess I've been wrong all these years! For some reason, I always thought same sex sex was gay. So what does that make bisexuals? Only gay part of the time? Have your cake and eat it too? Get serious.
