So, how do these trends, like grooming, spread if we guys are too afraid to talk about things like shaving the shaft, the balls, and trimming the pubes?
We take our cues from places like men's health and fitness magazines, seeing other guys at the gym in the showers and locker rooms, films and television, porn. We see all that, and follow suit.
My shaving actually began not by choice - unless of course I didn't want to be a dancer. We weren't allowed to have any pubic hair showing at any time. Therefore, off it came. Sounds a bit gross, I know, but the guys even shaved each other's cracks. Smooth was the name of the game, from face to toe. I realized that without the hair, I didn't sweat as much. Less sweating, less itching. Less itching, less scratching. It made sense to continue.
The thing is, we see the other men in the showers and locker rooms and we don't talk to each other. Unless we're there due to a team sport. We might nod and give short, soft, "hey," or "how you doin'?" - but, talk? Nope. We very rarely do that.
Damn shame, though. Because other guys may have an answer to something with which we have an issue.
Open up. Talk. Communicate.
Learn to be comfortable in your own skin; with the bits you were born with.

love to be shaved!
Amen, brother! It is so silly that we don't open up and talk - we are men with the same equipment. Have a wonderful day, my Friend. Wishing you all the very best of health. Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM
I'm a 53 y/o male and I started shaving the shaft of my penis in my 20s. I did it because condoms would pull out the hair when I took them off, and it hurt like hell. I no longer need to use condoms, but I still shave the shaft.
Great advice as always! Hot guys too!
Did you know some of the 700 lyrics, music created and sang by Charles Aznavour, called the French Sinatra by the American, dead at 94yo two nights before?
This one for instance?

Always good advice.
Yep, today’s the day to be Happy in your Birthday suit! Hugs and bisous.
All men are different, some are really put off with talking about themselves and their body. However I find that when a straight male friend finds out I'm gay, oddly they feel more comfortable opening up to me about their bodies and masturbating, than they do with other straight friends.
