On a local level.....no fucking celebrating here. Not only did the three house rep seats go to the incumbent house reps....but we also lost the Democrat in Doylestown Wendy Ulliman. That means Bucks County went red!!!!! Im am beyond in the dump. And I hear we even lost seats in the US House. Wth?!?!?! I don't think the blue wave came. The Senate really got to me. I can't believe that was all we got. I guess all this county wants is crook dirty and representatives that don't do shit and stripe more rights and let the virus off as many as possible. I may be taking a break.
Apparently they're counting the mail-ballots and Cheeto is freaking out. Last night he declared himself the winner, which is as stupid as it can get but this is the cult of stupidity, so no surprise. I'm rationing any news today again. I'm cautiously optimistic because otherwise I'd be depressed. And I'd like that last daddy to do me. Hard.
Right now Biden might win, but it'll be close. Basically he has to win PA and at least 12 other votes or go board.
It shouldn't even be close. If Democrats would just abandon laissez-faire trade policies as a failed experiment which just promotes more authoritarianism it wouldn't be close. But the center never was smart.
From this side of the border in Canada, lot of deception on USA's voters and vote system too.
This 2020 American election is, again and more, showing how divided are Americans.
Sadly, some have no desire to enter the 21st century and are still behaving as in the 50's and 60's in a more racist and bigot way.
For gay rights and any other rights in USA like race black rights, again the battles will rise and nothing will change in such a conservative-regressive country.
Poor people will remain poor and the richest will be richer and whiter...
Not forgetting that it's the opposition of the center states versus the East and West states that are more progressive.
