Ignorance Provided Painful Lesson

Today is World Aids Day; a day to remind folks to help find the cure, yes. But also a day to remind everyone to play safely. And there's no safer sex play than auto-fellatio, or jacking off - alone or with a buddy.

This also affords me the opportunity to extend my Education posts. Faithful Reader Jason forwarded me a link that reinforces why men need to be taught masturbation.

4
To have their questions answered, openly and honestly
5
This young man was 21 and had to experience what I am inclined to think was a torn foreskin before he realized his limited masturbation skills had done him no favors. He'd been wanking from an early age - but only by pinching the foreskin against the cockhead. No stroking up and down of the shaft; no retracting of the foreskin. Ever. As he was about to lose his virginity to some hot woman, penetration caused intense pain and knocked his dick in the dirt. Goodbye boner.
6
His ignorance provided him with a painful lesson. You can read a partial re-post of the guy's original here:
7
This reinforces my opinion that learning about masturbation and learning how are two entirely different things. That young man could have been saved a lot of pain (and embarrassment) if he'd been taught what to do and what to expect. The issue with his foreskin could've been discovered and easily treated by a physician much sooner. And that is why fathers need to be more open with their sons, and talk to them about their cocks; teach them.
8
But - - - I can say this with all sincerity - - - if guys would stop thinking jerking off together is placing a label on them, and be more open with one another about this common activity
9

10
they'd be able to learn from one another.

And all of that is a perfect lead-in to the Tantric Practices I mentioned yesterday. As Rachel Maddow would say,
"Watch this space."

The AIDS are regressing and the experts evoke the possibility of the end of the pandemic in about fifteen years.
The number of deaths due to the virus in the world in 2013 fell with 11,8 % in one year.
It is the strongest fall registered since the peak of 2005.
The number of new infections also slightly declined, passing from 2,2 million cases in 2012 to 2,1 millions in 2013.
We also speak about a vaccine in the process of finalization and of a medicine which decreases strongly the risks of contamination.
But you are right in one thousand thousandth, my dear Pat:
a) The number of contaminations remains considerable.
b) The vaccine, if the searches succeeds, will be available only in a not insignificant number of years.
c) The therapies delay (and even sometimes avoid) the death, but it is a poor survival which can tempt nobody. Not to mention the cost.
d)The use of the condom to protect oneself from it concerns not only the AIDS but also very many other sexually transmitted diseases.
I doubtless must be skipping a few, but it is already a set of sufficient reasons for remaining very careful, without any exceptions.
I wish you a great day, mon chéri, with a lot of bisous.

Wonderful as ever! You are so full of the most necessary information which you take the time to share. That is really great. Wonderful images too. Trust you are in reasonably good form at present. I'm a little worried about Paul! He has not posted for ages and has not replied to my emails! Thanks for your visits and comments. Lots of hugs, Patrick

Absolutely masturbation should be taught along with all things pertaining to sexuality. It is an important part of our lives and for us to be left to figure it out on our own is INSANITY! Things look as though they are getting better - I sure hope it is for future generations. Thanks for all you do, brother! Huggin' and Stokin' with you in Spirit, AOM

I still don't understand why fathers are so embarrassed about discussing cock and masturbation with there sons. We all do it and all have a cock, so it's not like their a freak, and have a deformity. My father wasn't shy about changing in my presence and open about nakedness in front of guys, and had a huge cock. So he never told me anything about cock care and jacking off.... I could never figure out.

Recent news saying HIV/AIDS on rise with young men - in China by 4 times. Before 2009, most HIV infections in China were caused by intravenous drug use, blood transfusions, mother-to-child transmission and “unknown” factors. Now sexual transmission accounts for more than 92 percent of all new infections. Looks like they need some condom instructions.

Thanks Pat for the December 1 reminder so we don't forget folks who are gone from this.

@ Jean - I just watched the "Vice" (HBO) episode about HIV...they reported on Africa and the US; no mention of China at all. Must be the political atmosphere there that they do not want the rest of the world to find out they encounter the same human issues as the rest of us.

@ Jean WM
You are right, and I can add two reasons which have to be extraded from the “unknown factors": a) the prostitution. b)those infected who were former blood donors or transfusion recipients.
By the end of 2011, more than 1.76 million blood samples had been tested in China and 780,000 (620,000-940,000) people were living with HIV, 0.058% (0.046-0.070%) of the total population. 46.5% were infected through heterosexual transmission, 17.4% through homosexual transmission.

@ whkattk
No country is proud of its own bad results, but (on this point) I believe that we cannot say that Chine blackout the truth.

@ mistress - Now, that IS strange...not shy about being naked, but wouldn't discuss cock and masturbation with you? Well, part of me suspects that, like my own father and the generation before him, he figured we'd learn on our own. Yet, just look at the things that happen because guys aren't given the info they should have. ***sigh***

In general I don't trust AIDS numbers coming from dictatorships. Dictators actually promote prejudices, including homophobia, to keep the people divided. Divide and conquer. Homophobia leads to unreliable AIDS numbers, and actually encourages the sort of behavior that fuels the epidemic.
