A Lovely Four Days

Good morning! Thank you for being here - it's appreciated so very much, as are your comments and emails. I hope you all had a lovely four days. Mine were relaxing. By the pool.
Watching films on Netflix,
or reading.
We spent last evening with friends we hadn't seen in five years.
That was a nice cap to the holiday. Though, I dare say, if we could declare our independence from the petulant boy in the White House, more than half the voting public here might be celebrating an Independence Day of another sort.
I am very pleased to have 5 people email and ask to participate in The Manhood Project. One has already completed the interview essay and was exactly what I was hoping for!
I feel this is an important project and will help so many other men understand how the definition of "manhood" and "being a man" differs yet is so similar; how our different experiences have shaped that impression. How we feel about ourselves, how we view ourselves as men, and why.

Have no fear. There will be no names or faces attached to your response - only your age and state (or country if outside the US).
If you'd like to participate, please email me:

I am pleased that you had a pleasant weekend. I am glad to find you here again. I promise nothing, but you can send to me your questionnaire and I shall maybe fill it at least on some questions.
Love, hugs and bisous, my darling Jean and Pat.

Glad you had a restful holiday. It's always interesting to think back and wonder what our grandparents would think. Maybe we haven't changed as much as we think we have.

Yes our commander-in-chief has been let loose on the world again, we are braced for the meetings and the tweets.
The good news about holidays, the weekend is almost here! Hugs and bisous guys.
