With this being Domestic Violence Awareness, I thought it would be a good time to finally share this. An email from a guy who had an experience you don't hear about very often these days: someone standing up to a would-be bully.
"i follow your advice and dont hide myself after ball practice. last week my dick got hard in the shower and i didn't worry about it when one of the guys from class started making fun of me and telling everyone to watch out because i must be gay. would you believe it that the one guy everyone looks up to came to my rescue. he even called the other guy a idiot and told him he needs tolearn about boners. he said besides who would be interested in your tiny thimble dick? now everyone in school calls that kid thimble dick and laughs at him. now i feel bad for him and want to do something to help but what can i do?"
Well, there's hope for humanity if you have a dude in your school who knows that our cocks have a tendency to stand up when we wash them. Plus, at the age you all are, they'll bone up for absolutely no reason at all except for a fresh supply of oxygen-enriched blood; a BOE (Blood Oxygen Erection).
I hope you thanked your defender. But, what can you do for the guy who made fun of you? I don't know. Ignorance can be tough on dudes your age. Don't shun him. Say hello; don't call him Thimble Dick.
Discourage others from making fun of his cock. For all anyone knows he might be a "grower" not a "shower."
Most all, tell him guys should never be ashamed of a boner.
Then, since you've been reading this blog, you might explain why we have no reason to be ashamed.

Good advice. It is ashame that some folks want to make fun of others and rather stupid to make fun of something that is common to all. I hope all is well with you and yours. Wishing you a lovely day, my Friend. Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM
You always have the best advice.
so sad that bully action
Karma is a bitch.....let him wallow I say.
Great advice as always! Trust your eye problem is being managed properly!
Bullies only need an actual or perceived thread of truth to torment their victims. Lying Ted, low-energy Jeb, etc. We have plenty of evidence every day of how this works. How would you like to be called "horseface?"
Sometimes all folks need is someone to listen to them if they are being bullied. And that’s what your blog is so good at Pat, giving people a voice. Hugs and bisous.
Wow! That story didn't end the way I imagined it would. Congrats to the kid who stepped up and defended you. Secondly, good on you for not being ashamed in the first place. I applaud you both. My workout time typically ends a few minutes after the middle and high school swim team finishes practice and I've never once seen any of those kids shower without their suits on and then try to change wrapped in a towel. All the while they're talking and laughing at whatever like its normal. I just want to tell them it would be so much easier to take pride in their bodies and not worry what people might see.
Keep it up and thank your defender!
@ John - I've seen a few guys showering in their workout shorts - nothing more ridiculous at the gym. It's sad, really. But, it's an sense of shame and embarrassment they've been *taught* at home and in church.
@ Jean - isn't that the truth? We sit here every night and cringe at the name-calling and the bullying he does. I used to give his wife a "pass" - no longer since the interview where she claimed she was one of the most bullied person in the world. To my knowledge, she's come through fairly unscathed thus far - she hasn't been called an "ape in a dress."
We are praying for good results on Nov 6, that we might begin to get some decent human beings taking over Congress. Pipe bombs - and he says at his rallies that "the Democrats are violent; there will be violence if they win." Sheesh.....
