An article from June of 2011 was brought to my attention. If I've read it before, I surely don't recall. And, if I've referenced it here before, it bears repeating. Especially for all the Straight dudes who stop by Big Whack Attack.
We've all heard about the extreme homophobe - the kind of guy who gets angry and (perhaps) even violent, vehemently denouncing anything gay. Well, studies on straight men were conducted with those gadgets physicians use to gauge boner ability. The results shouldn't surprise anyone, but this rather proves it:
"[The study] asked heterosexal men how comfortable and anxious they are around gay men. Based on these scores, they then divided these men into two groups: men that are homophobic, and men who are not. These men were then shown three, four-minute videos. One video depicted straight sex, one depicted lesbian sex and one depicted gay male sex. While this was happening, a device was attached to each participant’s penis. This device has been found to be triggered by sexual arousal, but not other types of arousal (such as nervousness, or fear – arousal often has a very different meaning in psychology than in popular usage). When viewing lesbian sex and straight sex, both the homophobic and the non-homophobic men showed increased penis circumference. For gay male sex, however, only the homophobic men showed heightened penis arousal. Heterosexual men with the most anti-gay attitudes, when asked, reported not being sexually aroused by gay male sex videos. But, their penises reported otherwise. Homophobic men were the most sexually aroused by gay male sex acts."
And this report solidfied it:
"The authors investigated the role of homosexual arousal in exclusively heterosexual men who admitted negative affect toward homosexual individuals. Participants consisted of a group of homophobic men (n = 35) and a group of nonhomophobic men (n = 29); they were assigned to groups on the basis of their scores on the Index of Homophobia (W. W. Hudson & W. A. Ricketts, 1980). The men were exposed to sexually explicit erotic stimuli consisting of heterosexual, male homosexual, and lesbian videotapes, and changes in penile circumference were monitored. They also completed an Aggression Questionnaire (A. H. Buss & M. Perry, 1992). Both groups exhibited increases in penile circumference to the heterosexual and female homosexual videos. Only the homophobic men showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression. Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies. PMID: 8772014 [PubMed – indexed for MEDLINE]"
Straight guys, it's okay that you find a cock - soft or hard - to be arousing. It is nothing you can control; when your cock reacts you have no say in it whatsoever.

These studies are very interesting, I did not know all this.
Besides, you provided the evidence in this post: there is only one heterosexual's photo surrounded with all the other photos which are gay, and it is true that the heterosexual is in erection.
AS for me, it is convincing, and I shall not listen to the forked tongues who say that is due only to the woman sat on his lower abdomen.

Interesting post. While I appreciate both male and female "parts" it's the female ones I want a relationship with. The male ones are just for fun. No kissing or cuddling. Strictly sex for fun. Unfortunately, there are still too many men who can't make that distinction. I come from a long line of Redneck homophobes. Sometimes I wonder what made me different. If I had a buddy to give me a handjob I wouldn't hesitate one minute. I'd happily return the favor.

@ Jean - These, unfortunately, are the men who are so deep in the closet that they will never admit any stirrings at all...they most likely fight against it and beat themselves up mentally because of it. Which is a shame, really, because they are probably angry most of the time and don't understand why. And, they probably don't understand why they get such joy out of belittling, or abusing any man with even a hint of gayness about them.
Others will sit and surf gay porn on their computers on the "down low," some watch straight porn and tell themselves they are NOT looking at the men when they really are.
Still others are them men who frequent the men's rooms looking for the fast, anonymous hook-up.
They live in denial, and in the process deny themselves a bit of happiness.
All conjecture on my part, of course.
