Natural Boner Killers

Let's go into the kitchen for a moment.
If you are a follower of naturalistic, Holistic, or Homeopathic remedies it should come as no surprise that women who need to boost their levels are told to consume foods high in Estrogen. It's fine for them, but, during the discussion of weak erections last week, I should have also stressed: Foods heavy in natural estrogen are also natural boner killers.
3
Studies around the globe have discovered higher rates of early breast development in girls - and, surprise! breast development in boys! Testicles are shrinking and breast tissue is growing.
4
Male consumption of Estrogen is also thought to be the cause of:

  • Low Testosterone in younger men
  • High rates of Prostate Cancer
  • Gynecomastasia (breast development in males)
  • Male Breast Cancer

and, drum roll please...
Erectile Dysfunction.
5
Males of all ages should avoid:

  • Flax, or flax seed in any incarnation
  • Soy, or any soy product - this includes Ensure,
  • And Ladies - pay special attention here! infant formulas such as Enfamil and Similac.

Guys, if you are suffering from flagging flagpoles and weak ejaculations, take a serious look at your diet. You'd be surprised to learn just how much Estrogen you ingest. According to Martha Rosenberg, an investigative health reporter: "Legumes like chickpeas (garbanzo beans) red beans, black-eyed peas, green peas and split peas are also estrogenic and black beans pack 5,330 micrograms of estrogen per 100 grams. Hummus (from chickpeas) has 993 micrograms of estrogen per 100 grams. How about the "healthful" seeds we think of as mingled in trailmix? Sesame and sunflower seeds are among the highest of all estrogenic foods. While their seeds are not a staple of most people's diets, their oils are widely used in processed and prepared foods."

To keep those boners as stiff as stiff can be.

Read those labels on processed foods, and avoid things known to contain boner killers.

a bit out of topic: I don't have any erectile disfunction, but I think to sex too much!

Well made and useful cautionary statement, but the optimal dose could change, our need for estrogen can increase or decrease as we age, if we gain or lose weight, if we have substantially change of our diet or if we start taking other hormones or medications, etc., etc., etc. and son on.
Therefore, my humble conclusion is that we should make nothing without the opinion of a competent doctor for ensuring this work of tightrope walker under the best possible conditions of safety.
I wish you a wondrous day, mon chéri, as well as to Jean, with a lot of bisous.

I try to keep to the diet that my doctor recommended to keep my cholesterol and blood pressure under control. Along with medication they seem to be working. Great post as always. Wonderful advice and hot images! Thanks for your visits and comments.

So Professor Pat, how do you increase testosterone naturally? Men's levels can drop but so can women's.

Otherwise a fine lot of healthy males ;-).

@ Jean & @ Anon - I'm researching that. There must be foods that will naturally boost testosterone.

Well dear man, much as I enjoy your blog and all those delicious images of boners, I have to state strong disagreement with all of what you claim regarding "eostrogen-inducing" foods having a negative effect on said boners. At least from my personal experience.. can't speak from a scientific knowledge.

I'm a vegetarian of some 35 years. OK, I eat fish because I need to. But sesame and sunflower seeds ARE part of my staple diet, likewise all soya product, legumes, green peas, black beans, hummus.. all the things you say to stay away from. Of course I do eat loads of cauliflower and broccoli as well.. so who knows? But certainly no erectile dysfunction, no shrinking testicles, no failing libido... just ask my 43 yr old lover! (I'm 63) Sure I don't get as hard or as often as when I was 23, but I'm OK with that.

@ Jeffrey - The information on the amounts of, and effects on men from Estrogen in foods has all been gathered from medical sites. I don't think they are claiming that these foods will have a 100% negative effect on all men - particularly once past the stages of puberty. I think a lot depends upon the levels of Testosterone a man's testicles produce.

The medical community has long suspected that ingestion of Estrogen-high foods have caused the increase in men developing breasts and the increase in the the incidence of breast cancer in men.

As French Patrick has been commenting on each post, it is important to get T levels checked, and if there is an issue with boners ask for estrogen levels to be checked as well. That's sound advice!

Well you've inspired me to read more on the subject as its something I'd not considered at all. And some of the literature is telling me that too low levels of estrogen can contribute to the possibility of vascular disease, loss of bone density and cognitive function. That men should maintain a level of estrogen above 20pg/mL but below 30pg/mL. Shall keep reading, and probably get a test next time I do bloods. Thanks again for a very interesting and well-put-together blog. Trust your own health situation proves manageable.
