A Greater Acceptance

CNN is airing a special series by Christiane Amanpour titled Sex and Love Around the World. It's interesting - especially in regards to the different attitudes found around the world. And, you can hardly discuss the topic without addressing nudity. While she is mostly interested in the way women view fulfillment in their lives when it comes to the difference between the sexes, she doesn't shy away from talking to men.
In the Berlin episode, she finds a greater acceptance of nudity and intimacy than pretty much anywhere else. There they are, sitting in parks or on the beaches, playing games, or otherwise enjoying their lives wearing, perhaps, only a pair of shoes.
Though it does appear that men are less body-conscious than women, and more apt to shed the clothing. The only thing men seem to worry about when it comes to being naked in a public setting is getting a boner.

If you have access to CNN, it's worth the viewing time - despite the digital blurring of genitals by the cable network, which is a bit ironic considering the topic.

I used to belong to a nudist group in Denver that bowled naked once a month.

I will have to check that out. It is interesting to see how countries view nudity and the such. Berlin shocks me. I would think they'd be stuffy and uptight.

Yes! Two friends - husband & wife - were amazed by nudity in parts of Europe. People having lunch in the park nude, then putting their clothes on to go back to work. I googled that guy - the male prostitute - but got nothing. Off to my doctor shortly - a few problems!
