Such a Simple Thing

It's enough to wilt your boner. If you remember the message from the young guy whose mother never told him that his father had died of Testicular Cancer at a young age.... This is the kind of message I hate:

"This is xxxx's sister. I'm responding to the messages I found in my brother's email account. I am very sorry to have to tell you that he died the day after Christmas. As you know, the cancer was discovered at an advanced stage. When the treatments didn't appear to be working, it was his decision to stop them. They made him so ill, I couldn't blame him.

I apologize for taking so long to notify you but, as you may know, his illness and death were especially hard to take. As he told you, it could've been avoided. If our mother had been adult enough, the parent she should have been, the harsh chemotherapy wouldn't have even been required because he would have known to get his testicles checked regularly. He'd have looked forward to a long and happy life.

You expressed hope that he would find a way to forgive our mother. He never saw or spoke to her again. He put her on a blocked visitor list at the hospice facility. She managed to sneak in on Christmas Eve and he had her thrown out. I feel bad for her, but I'm very angry myself. It's been a struggle for me to not hate her for being such a coward.

Last, I want to thank you for caring. You didn't know my brother personally, and that makes it all the more special."

Take a lesson, folks. Such a simple thing to digest. Acknowledgment of what males have

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that I am in favour of the euthanasia. It is merely a matter of value for money. There is a moment when the price to pay in kind with our sufferings is excessively too expensive.
It's by ending on this merry note of hope that I leave you, my dear Jean and Pat, by wishing you a wondrous day with lots of bisous.
