May is Masturbation Month. As French Patrick points out, it is also Mental Health Month. The two go hand in hand (pun intended, I think). It's about more than relieving pent-up sexual tension. Masturbation is mental health.
A good attitude toward masturbation leads to a healthy and positive attitude toward sex. If we learn that lesson when we first discover the erogenous sensations, as we progress through puberty we find a greater, guilt-free enjoyment of sex in general.
