That Hard, That Long

Morning.

"I've been reading your blog for a long time and really appreciate all the information you provide. If you covered this, I missed it. I woke up with the stiffest log I've ever experienced. And it stuck around through the entire morning routine of whizz, brushing, shower and shave. Since I never have extra time before work it was still hard when I got dressed and then I had to push it around to get comfortable in the car. When I got to work it was so hard it hurt. A colleague even noticed it and told me I should go pound it out. It eventually went down but it lasted so long I was starting to get worried.  WTF is going on? Has anyone else had a morning boner that hard and last that long? What did you do?"

According to Cleveland Clinic:
A painful erection that lasts for several hours, develops when blood remains in your penis and can't drain. It can occur without cause, or it may result from an underlying condition, nonmedical use of medications or injury.

Also, men's hormones fluctuate just as women's do. So it could be a simple case of replenishing a higher than usual level of testosterone while you slept. Ejaculation could resolve the erection, but if you don't have time for that the boner should eventually subside even without having to cum. And remember, the harder your cock gets the more sensitive it is, so the slightest stimulation can cause a boner to stick around.

Problem is --- as you've found out --- until the hardness does subside at least a little, those erections can actually be painful.

Has it happened to anyone else? Most likely. What did they do about it?
Guys?
