Muscle or Organ

Following up on yesterday's post on how to use and enjoy what you've got, and keeping it healthy, we get some FAQs answered by Healthline,

Is the cock a Muscle or an Organ? It's an organ, of course. But, then why....

"If you have a penis or have been around someone with one, chances are you’ve performed or been privy to the magic show. You know the one: the flexing of the dick that causes it to move up and down. The love muscle may not be a muscle, but it does have muscles nearby that make movement possible. Not to impress the masses with cock magic, but to help make penetration and urination possible. If you’re interested in improving your cock control, Kegel exercises can help."

There are those Kegels I keep mentioning.

Can those exercises make it bigger? Afraid not. Not really. But...

"Kegels may help improve blood flow, which could make your erection fuller. As for those ads that pop up online promising secret “must know” exercises for a bigger penis, you’re out of luck. Exercising your dick’s not likely to make it any bigger. Before you start [jelqing] pulling and tugging on anything, remember that penis size really doesn’t have any bearing on how good you are in the sack." [Bold is mine.]

If it isn't a bone how are fractures possible? It may not be or have a bone but we don't call it a boner for nothing....

"There’s no bone in that boner, but you can definitely break a penis with the right kind of trauma. This is called a penile fracture. Why in the name of all creatures big and small would anyone twist their penis so violently, you ask? Not on purpose!"

Getting it caught and rolling over on it when sleeping, too rambunctious with the thrusting, too rambunctious with the stroking....

Are all boners the same? Not at all.

"There are different kinds of erections, like morning wood, the kind you get when you’re stimulated and aroused, and even random erections that can happen for no apparent reason. How firm they are and how they feel also varies, too. You can have a raging boner or a not-so-raging semi, depending on a number of factors. Mood, alcohol or drug use, medications, relationships, time of day, or how much sleep you get."

Does the foreskin have any special sensitivity? Contrary to popular belief....

"Foreskin doesn’t appear to make much, if any, difference at all. Studies have produced conflicting reports on the impact that circumcision has on sexual pleasure. The most recent evidence showed there was minimal difference in penile sensitivity between folks with a circumcised or uncircumcised penis. Learning to work with what you’ve got is key. Masturbation is a fun and effective way to discover what feels good and what doesn’t." [Bold is mine.]

Though, I will argue that --- according to my own physician --- for cut guys, the head of the cock can callous. Use that Vitamin E Oil daily after your shower to keep that from happening.

Bottom line, as Adrienne Santos-Longhurst writes, "Practice good penis health, be careful not to break it, and enjoy all the magic it has to offer."

And just like that --- bam! --- the integrated comment widget quit working again. .... sigh ....

Setting on ones balls can sure hurt. If A guy gets hit in the nuts every male in the room groans.

Interesting... Many call it a muscle & I think it's okay, what matters is taking care of it. 🙂

It's not a muscle, and besides I doubt that there are competitions in the context of bodybuilding.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
Have a great weekend.

Great info. Thanks for sharing. Love kegels. It's like fucking/thrusting on the interior, without drawing any attention to it. Now do one of these about prostate health... it's all connected!

Kegels are magic.
I had a man who practiced with a hand towel over his dick. he could make that towel fly. Fun.

XOXO

My doctor said the callous thing is not true.

Great penis information. I liked the views too, especially the guy in jeans with the peekaboo cock sticking up and out of the jeans. Yum!

it is a delicate organ to be handled with care.

I got circked at age 22, and my glans eventually DID become less sensitive. It didn't deter me from enjoying all my cock has to offer, but I did notice the difference. The size was not affected. I still pull a 7.75 incher.

@ Utah Jock - Doctors differ --- maybe that's why we always go for that "second opinion." LOL.

I mean, if you focus on the glans, sure you wouldn't notice a difference.

I always appreciate the research that you do.

Pat, I don't know where you got your info that circumcision doesn't make a lot of difference in sensitivity, but there is a professor who had studied it and definately has a contrary take. Follow the science!
