Anything Fun?

Morning

Over the weekend, we went to a new indie bookstore where I picked up a couple of vintage hardcover Asimov books.

Monday Giggles

Well, that's probably no longer true.

Did you have a good weekend? Do anything fun?

Happy Monday, weekend was not exciting, just chilled and enjoyed the back yard. Thanks for the Monday giggles and of course the eye candy.

My weekend was pretty low key... but someone tried to pick me up at Bloomingdale's and the person I was with said "He thinks you're rich"... "I said I'll take it... it's been a long time since a 20 something cute guy even noticed me."

Ohh love that!
Local indie bookstores are the BEST. They also can get you ANY book you want.
And the chicken puns did not stop! LOL

XOXO

Great jokes and hard wood !
You’re lucky you have a newly opened indy bookstore, the best and biggest one in my area, closed when the landlord tripled their rent ! And the building is still vacant after 10 years.
Didn’t know vintage gay icon Brian Idol was an intellectual.
Why is it weekends go by so fast ?!
Best weekends were back in the day when I was in the male $tripper circuit in the USA and Canada 1990-1998. Never see the likes of those times again and everything was more affordable.

Thanks for the giggles. I especially liked the one about cats, it's an undeniable proof that earth cannot be flat :-)
(plus: if it were flat, cats would have found a way to play under it and bump it from underneath, wouldn't they?)

Too hot. Started new Netflix series “When life gives you tangerines.” I hope the new tariffs on South Korea don’t include their contributions to Netflix. I like the duct tape! Hugs and bisous.

Good giggles! It was a weekend. Had a spot of weather come through late afternoon on the 3rd. Spend most of the 4th cleaning up the yard from the fallen branches. Never really felt like it was "time off" to just sit and have a beer. But alas, the weekend has ended (husband goes back to work today), and time to get back into routine.

Jerry and I had 19 people over for a potluck on Saturday. Everyone had a good time.
