By Yourself

It's the weekend.

You're home all by yourself.

Take advantage of it.

But, if you are a US citizen, make sure you are registered to vote. If early voting is available to you

and remember to
(You see what I did there?)

Good luck with the vote. There are more and more people who believe that Trump's speedy recovery is due to the fact that his so-called Covid-19 test was just a sham which will make a boomerang effect. May them be right.
Hugs and bisous my darlings Jean and Pat. Enjoy a wondrous weekend

Vote. I have already done so. Request a vote by mail; you can follow the whole process online from when they mail out the ballot, once you mail it back and then when it is received. This is not the year to procrastinate.

Hugs and bisous.

Got my drop-off ballot this week and will vote next week! I guess they are allowed to pre-scan the ballots because for the primary in September the preliminary city results were available soon after the polls closed.
Even though I live in a reliably blue state I realize this is the most important election I've ever voted in.

35 years ago I was the first openly gay candidate for the local city council - good showing: #10 for a 9 member board, but by the end of the campaign I was relieved not to be elected and wished that one of the other members of our 3 person slate had made it since she would have been an excellent councillor. I've sat on appointed boards ever since - once I convinced the City Manager that I would never run again and concentrate on the work of the board! I would never have predicted the amount of civic involvement I've had, but it's been very rewarding to help make sure the right things were done.
