About Yourself

We passed a milestone here in the US. Depending on which site you visit for the tally, we passed the 500k deaths over the weekend, or more than a week ago. And this COVID-19 thing just keeps dragging on and on. Despite disparaging the light at the end of the tunnel, we'll get through this; they did in 1917-1918 and we will, too. But some people are getting quite fed up with it all. Some people are experiencing a deep sense of loneliness. But, if truth be told, even those who have spouses or partners, are weary.

But, as Alyson over at Mel says:

"Don’t equate lockdown self-love with loneliness, though. Yeah, you’re probably doing it when you’re bored, but maybe that’s okay. "

I've often said here that masturbation is a great way to while away the time. It's also an excellent opportunity to get to know yourself better.

Go ahead...educate yourself about yourself.

You're never too old to learn.
Take some time to discover new things.

You never know. It could turn out to be a lot of fun.

Does anyone have any news about Phil at AOM? Very very worried. Saying an extra prayer of healing for him. If anyone has news please post a comment.
This milestone of 500,000 is tragic. Please keep wearing your mask and following the precautions so that we can get through this together.
Take care of yourself and give yourself an extra bit of love.

Indeed some good things, simply pleasant or even useful can emerge from boredom.
It started with more time for home cooking, reading, looking up thingy-pedia for all those details you always procrastinate, watching all those TV series episodes that got all over your hard-drive...
But also sex, obviously.
In my case, (solo) sex led me to open "yet another blogspot" filled with pictures of men.
Sex from real to virtual, and back.

Almost 7PM here, time for home made meal... :-)

Anon friend here - When I was younger like in my teens and early twenties I didn't have as much trouble focusing during masturbation. Now when alone and it is quiet, every little thing that comes to mind distracts me and gets my mind going in another direction. I'll be thinking about something I need to get done, an errand I need to run. It could be almost anything and then I lose interest. Is this lack of focus during time alone something I should be talking to the doctor about?

I saw what Biden said: "More deaths than in the two world wars plus the Vietnam war" and also that the people should show brotherhood and solidarity. I think it will be able to demonstrate effectiveness by drawing inspiration from the example of the most efficient countries, such as Israel, which vaccinated 82% of its population against 2% in France.

Good luck. Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

Part of the reason people are Down in the Dumps is because it's the end of a long year-- and although the vaccine will be available later this year, it'll probably be summer before everyone gets a shot at it. So to speak.

In spite of the best medical advise, there are still Voices decrying the vaccine, decrying masks, and urging things to get back to normal as soon as possible: "Kids need to get back to school-- they don't infect as easily, so it won't be a problem."

Oh, my people! Science should rule-- not some pundit crying for Truth, Justice, and the Republican Way!

There is another light at the end of the tunnel-- It's currently 51 degrees in The Greater Cincinnati Area. That means walking around nearly naked outdoors will be possible soon! Sooner if you don't freeze easily! Totally naked if you live in a civilized area! (:

Oh, trust me. I've gotten to know me much, much better during this lockdown. The advantage I have is that even though I'm an extrovert for work, I can be an introvert at home.
Also, could I have that silver fox? I'd like to save him for after the pandemic...

XOXO

Sometimes you simply can’t think of anything to say. That 500,000 number just really makes you stop and reflect.
Hugs and bisous.

The one thing the covid isolation has done for me? I rediscovered my imagination. I stopped looking at PornHub for inspiration to jerk off. I now simply lie on the floor of my bathroom and create my own scene and dialogue in my head and let nature take it's course. It's very fulfilling. And I really enjoy it more.
