Pleasantly Surprised

Morning

The SAG Awards were on last night. Timothee Chalamet got Best Actor in a movie for A Complete Unknown, boosting his chances for the Naked Golden Man. He appeared surprised - as surprised as Adrien Brody, who was the front-runner and expected to walk away with the green mask last night. As pleasantly surprised as discovering you've popped a boner out on the boat in the middle of the lake.

Have some Monday Giggles.

I loved the kid wanting to devour the unborn.

It's funny how times change. I don't think they advertise the award shows like they used to and viewerships way down on these things. I was hoping Adrian Brody would win that. He's such a good actor. I most likely won't watch the Oscars either. I'm very seldom deviate from my BBC shows

When you wish upon a star, it is NOT dead, and neither are your dreams. Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, is 8 light years away, not millions of light years. Other stars in the sky are similarly only a few light years away. The Andromeda galaxy is 2 million light years away, but even Andromeda is not dead. Stars and galaxies last for billions of years, not millions (our sun is 4 billion years old). So go ahead and wish upon a star.

Oh, you know what I LOVED?
Jane Fonda's eight minute acceptance speech. She let them HAVE IT.

XOXO

I think that was my favorite today.

Viewership is WAY down for the awards shows. Brody is a good actor, I wouldn't have been disappointed if he'd walked home with it. But I'm happy Chalamet has been acknowledges - been a fan since his stunning work in "Call Me By Your Name."

LOL. Are you sure, Larry? I mean, are you **really** sure?? I'd hate to waste such an important wish like the one I have been sending out for, oh, about the last 3 months. LOL

Yep. It was a good one. Without naming names, she pretty much said it all.
XOXO

Chalamet is certainly working on being one of the best actors of his generation. I hope he gets the Oscar, “a Complete Unknown” was great, but he was also great in “Call me by Your Name, Dune one and two, Little Women, etc. he has a great breadth of experience now. There is a great interview of him by Apple, that’s on YouTube.
Monday funnies were really good, the kid asking for “the unborn” for breakfast was a hoot. I feel sorry for his teachers. Hugs and bisous.

#1 typical nonchalant jock :)
Now the repugs who run government offices are scrambling telling everyone to ignore Muskrat’s orders, they have bitten off more than they can chew and sucked more than they can suck.

Love that bathroom sign. Gotta get me one. Just coming out of the deep freeze here. OMW - seriously. We went from -35 last Monday to 48 this Monday. I have been in a foul mood and hibernating. Thanks for the giggles. Need to catch up.

He'll be one of the greats in the coming years, that's for sure. Thanks for the tip about the interview.
That kid is gonna be quite the handful - but he'll probably do some great things, too!
Hugs and bisous.

Oh, have they ever --- but they'll never admit it.

I don't blame you for hibernating - or the foul mood. Both are justified.
