I never wanted to go to the beach so bad in my life...
We had a wonderful gay beach bar down the Pass-a-grille area of St. Pete Beach called "Bedrocks". The building DID look like something out of the Flinstones, but the best part was the bar was open directly to the beach. Though St. Pete had ordinances against public nudity, once you got into the water, the city limits ended and so did the ordinances. Swarms of men, all holding a drink in one hand and a bathing suit in the other (or with the suit wrapped around wrist if the hand was busy doing something else)! It was marvelous! Spent MANY and afternoon there!
Aw, geez. You're getting the systems we dealt with for a few weeks. Hang in there...warmer weather is on its way. We've crawled back up to the high 70s, low 80s.

I noticed the same kind of thing on Waikiki a number of years ago --- and joined in. No drinks in hand but a lot of suits wrapped around a lot of necks, or forearms.
Or as is my motto- hooray hooray it's the first of May outdoor screwing begins today!!
