"we wake up with wood and get sporadic erections all day but how many is normal. i'm 23 and it feels like i'm always pushing one around in my pants. even if i go pound one out it's never long maybe an hour or two and its boner city all over again. is this normal or is there a problem down there?"
Men get as many as 11 spontaneous boners every day - or approximately one every two hours.
Is this something that recently started? If so, it could be a prostate infection. It could even be a urinary tract infection that is causing an irritation in the urethra, which could, indeed, lead to an erection. Though UTIs generally have the opposite effect on boners, it can sometimes be the origin of too-frequent erections. If it's a recent development and continues, go see your doctor.
If it's not a recent development, at 23, your hormone levels are still high, and I'd say it's normal and nothing to worry about.
