Squelch the Fires

Getting into the pool - that was easy. Had an enjoyable time. The back is still a bit tender, but it's mending well.
I think being in the pool helped.
Getting out  - not so much.

But, otherwise it was a nice relaxing day.

Today, the wind is blowing like mad. The smoke haze from the fires in California isn't going away, it's getting blown in. Weirdness. The West could really use some rain to squelch the fires, and clear the smoke and soot from the air.

Glad you got to enjoy your pool. It is certain that it can only do you good, both physically and morally.

I have an assumption regarding the fires in California. It cannot be due to global warming since Trump says that there is no global warning, and he's always right even when he's the only one thinking what he's saying. I wonder if it is not him who made start the fires to erase the traces of his insults directed at veterans, insults he piteously tries to deny since he doesn't even have the courage to take responsibility for them.

Ohh I can imagine!
But at least being able to use the pool is in itself a rest.
I don’t know what the hell is going on with this weather. Yesterday evening and today I wore long sleeves. Go figure.

WONDERFUL! So happy you made it into the pool I firmly believe water is healing. I do hope Cali gets rain without lightning. They sure need it. On my radar map it shows wildfires all throughout the West. I wish you all the very best, my Dear Friend. Enjoy! Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM

@ six - I needed the long sleeves last night and today, too. After all these years, I'm just a total, 100% "desert rat." 😊😎
