"What are some opinions on Rezum and water ablation surgeries for BPH?"
BPH (Benign Prostate Hyperplasia) is an enlargement of the prostate. That issue is the culprit behind men needing to pee often due to the inability to fully empty the bladder. Over the years there have been many different treatments which can cause a multitude of other problems. The one which concerns men the most, of course, is ED (Erectile Dysfunction).
We guys love our boners. Yes, we do.
Rezūm Water Vapor Therapy is a minimally invasive procedure that uses the natural energy stored in a few drops of water to treat the excess prostate tissue causing BPH symptoms and can be done in a doctor's office.
According to the NIH (National Institute of Health):
"Both tests have demonstrated the Rezum system to be successful at producing necrosis in targeted cell tissue while preserving non-treated tissue around the area, as the thermal energy is contained within the zonal boundaries of the prostate. Mean reduction of total prostate volume at 6 months post procedure was 28.9%."
According to Urology Times:
"They both use water, but in different ways. And so, Rezum is office-based and Aquablation is operating-room-based. One is minimally invasive and the other is more a surgical management of BPH."
According to reports I've found, you'll also be happy to know:
"Compared to many other BPH treatments, Aquablation is more effective and carries virtually no risk of reducing a man's sexual function. In fact, the vast majority of men experience no change in their sexual desire and/or erectile function after Aquablation."

You learn somethin' new every day! 😉
Hmm, those are two things worth considering. Thanks!
I think that it's fantastic that there are several options out there to treat BPH. It's something that many men will have to consider at one point or another.
BTW, this post is Daddylicious.
XOXO
Nice boners! Just another reason to take care of your best friend!
You comfort me in the certainty that the best thing is not to fall ill.
Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
Have a great day, and keep in good health.
Am back home from the gay summer picnic I co-hosted with friends. Will not know the total until the group picture is enlarged and printed. Friends came 2 days early to help set up and some stayed till the next day to take everything down. Lots of nude swimming, playing corn hole, chatting, eating and drinking. Guys were here until almost midnight. 5 even spent the night to help. It was hot and humid so the pool was full, lucky no rain the day before, day of, and the day after. Guests were here from Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and Canada.
You always have such great research and knowledge. It is greatly appreciated, as well as the great pictures.
You always provide such educational information along with the hot visuals.
Nice to see some MEN! And see beautiful erect meat. Sometimes I get tired of the shavetails and the teenage boys seen in a lot of other blogs. When did it become shameful to reach puberty and have a hairy crotch and sack?
Never heard of either of these procedures. Thanks for the great info. Dunno. It would seem to me that there must be a way of restoring and maintaining a healthy prostate. I know diet and exercise are a part of the regimen. I wonder what else can be done - on a daily basis, at home.
@ Big Dude - I have to admit, I prefer the look of a trimmed bush rather than an overgrown jungle. But shaving the shaft and sac? It enhances sensation.
@ Hooter - It sounds like you all had an excellent timme!
@ Upton - Beyond diet and exercise and ejaculating on a regular basis, I'm not sure. I'll do some more digging! Kisses!!
