It was our annual Oscar weekend. We had a great time watching all the nominated films and then the awards telecast.
My score this year: 15 out of 19.
I didn't try to guess on the short films or the Best Song.
Not too bad.
I am thrilled for Brendan Fraser. His performance in The Whale is stunning.

The hiking tip is too true. My version: take a camera, and when hiking uphill, make frequent stops to take a picture of a rock, or leaf, or whatever.
Watched the Oscars here and there. EEALO won what it needed to win. Love that movie.
The Whale? Deserved. Gaga? As Bob said, she's as thirsty as Madonna but she sounded great.
And I'd be on my knees in a second for the guy in the firs gif. Yes.

Apparently, Baptist preachers and their sign hangers either have such pure thoughts that things we think are funny are wa-a-ay over their heads, or they know they're posting double entendres and hope they'll boost attendance on Sunday!

You'd think living in WEHO, I'd watch the Oscar's, but have only ever watched it once, in my teens. Not really my cup of tea. I'm surprised award shows even still gather any ratings. I don't have the attention span..
