Ha! One, that's not the forgiving I usually do, but it works. Give me one Brazilian or give me death. And the battered fish? Priceless. Also, that car door looks HUGE!
Regarding the mispronounced name, I worked with a guy with a Polish last name that was so consistently mispronounced that he gave up and starting using the mispronounced version (pronounced as if it were English). I think this is how names get Anglicized.
@ Unashamed - Yep.... A lot of names were Anglicized when folks immigrated because those working Customs couldn't understand the pronunciation or hadn't a clue as to spelling. LOL.
@ Upton - Power windows, power locks, and 4-way power seats. The little toggle switch was for adjusting the side-view mirror. In other words: Overkill. LOL

Poor Shella! My condolences She will remember that one should bite off only as much as one can chew.
I didn't know Monday is a day predestined for laughter, but whatever, it's always good to take.
Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

Huh... I've never been a Presbyterian... they must have one kick ass service!
I feel for Shelia. The French! I tell ya. Nothing but trouble.
And that is one classy automobile door. I want to know what all the controls and amenities offer.
Thanks for the grins and giggles. Happy Monday!

The door panel of the first picture belongs to an early 80's Oldsmobile Ninety Eight!
