Sexual Wellness II

Morning

Faithful Reader Boz, who pens the blog Always In Fashion, sent this article from The Nation. I think it's worth a share to shed some light on what is happening.

Executive Order Reveals Endgame

"I really want to thank you for posing my question about sexual wellness, and your readers for their candor about their exams. Here's a follow-up: Do you wish your doctor would be more open and frank and broach the subject of sexual wellness?

I appreciate it and it will help me move forward in my practice."

You're welcome.  I've said many times that I have the best readers --- they are always willing to help others if and when they can.

Readers? Do you wish your doctor(s) would broach the subject first?

Yes, my doctor should ask questions first. Which is why I just switched to a new doctor. I make no secret about being gay, so to ignore it during a visit or exam is wrong. My first new doctor visit: Are you still active? (I'm 70) And more questions. A doctor is a healer, not a judge.

When it's time for the annual physical, I think my doctor should ask me about the "plumbing." If I'm comfortable talking about it, then I'll tell him in detail. If I don't want to talk about it, I'll say, "Everything works great!" I suppose it would help if the doctor prefaces the question with an explanation of WHY it's so important to talk about a man's sexual health. It would make the discussion a little more clinical and not feel like he's just asking personal questions.

Thanks for the link to The Nation. The best line in the piece was, "Congress is currently run by a group of Republicans with their heads so far up Trump’s ass they can taste his Big Macs."

Of course, I hope the doctor addresses this issue...

For us Europeans, we have little understanding of how your administration works. This article from "The Nation" is enlightening and leaves us concerned... Thank you for all this information.

Yes! This should be for male and females. Doctors are the experts they need to be the leaders, to be on the offensive. My advice to doctors, give it a try and listen to what your patients tell you. Hugs and bisous.

Mine typically does... I mean, we get around to it... we talk about everything in my life.

It was an excellent explanation. I would add that Putin nudging us into a heavily divided nation on the verge of a civil war is so he can begin attacking NATO countries.

That's a good doctor. He's a keeper.

I agree that the first question should be prefaced by "Your sexual health is a part of your overall health, so..."

Great article. Yep, that was a great line to end the piece.

It's a good article, worthy of being translated and shared all over Europe.

I wish more doctors would treat the entire body instead of sending folks off to specialists all the time.
XOXO

There is no topic taboo with my doctor. If she asks me an honest question about bodily functions, I answer her, accordingly. Nothing held back. If you can't be honest with the person who is that first line of defense to keeping me alive, ya know?

That article The Nation was an exceptional read! I just hope to good Fuck that we're not so far into this cesspit of Kleptocracy that we won't be able to come out.

Yes, and that's why I changed my doctor.
