Morning
Happy Spring Equinox!
They did it again. Yesterday's Midweek Mirth was placed behind their redundant Sensitive Content Warning. For a bunch of memes! It appears that more and more bloggers are getting the same treatment. Some. like Rick, more than once per day.
For those folks having issues because they refuse to sign in: I have found that by launching an Incognito session, I can access anything without logging in.
"I'm a straight male in a monogamous relationship. I manscape (trim the lawn, shave the shaft and sac) so I don't think there are any critters, but in the last few days my nut sac started itching like crazy. Any ideas?"
If you are certain there could be zero critters --- crab lice have been all but wiped out due to manscaping --- it could be a simple matter of dry skin. Usually referred to as Winter Skin, it hits people during seasonal cold and dry months. Top that off with the fact that most men don't use body lotion. Top that off by the fact that most men --- if they do use lotion --- don't think about using it on their cock or sac. Remember that is skin like any other on your body.
Get a good brand of body lotion that doesn't contain any alcohol. Suave on the cheap end at approx. $4.50; Native ($13.97) or CeraVe ($14.99) at the high end. After you've showered and patted dry, use the lotion.
If you're cut (circumcised) you should also be putting a few drops of Vitamin E oil on the glans (cockhead) after each shower.
Try the lotion for a few days, if the itching continues, have your doctor take a look.

Ohhh Cerave is fantastic. Recommend.
And the Vitamin E trick??? Who knew??
XOXO
The simple act of shaving the balls and shaft is enough to cause the itching and increased sensitivity. Many men use a calming lotion after face shaving, I use Nivea sensitive post shave balm for the face. On the naughty bits, use a good shave cream like Gillette Foamy Sensitive or a mild soap lather from a bar soap like Dove unscented for sensitive skin. Also, keep changing your razor head, the sharper, the better. Immediately after shaving I hit the area with a generic brand of Hydrocortisone 1% anti-itch cream which almost immediately stops the irritation. The next day use a good lotion as Pat has suggested. Vitamin E oil keeps the glans soft, hydrated and shiny and is great to rub on fingernails to keep them moisturized. Years and years of trial and error, you'll find what works best for you.
Maybe it's just razor burn?
Also, guys who shave their balls can itch when the hair starts growing back in
I always moisturise after shaving down there. It stops the irritation and feels good. I mean, it generally turns into a wank session, which of course feels good too ;)
Oh, Six.... Where have you been? I've been recommending that for years. You need to keep that thing soft and supple. Otherwise, callous will build from the constant rubbing against your briefs material. Try it - you'll notice a difference in a few weeks.
XOXO
Didn't think about shaving irritation. But for the issue to crop up only recently, I discounted that.
Could be, I guess.
Oh, that is a definite.
LOL. Ain't nothing wrong with that. I think most ball checks end up like that, too.
I have heard people that don't landscape a lot, or for the first time usually get itchy until their bits get used to it. I myself manscape, and I only use a vitamin E oil on my cock and balls.
Did Spring arrive early? Have you been out in the garden, discovering poison ivy (or its friends) and 'touching yourself?'
Or perhaps wandering outside without clothing, and allowing (!) mosquitos to feast on your manhood??
I think razor burn
Lots of good info in the comments,, I’d make sure that everything is rinsed off really well. Leaving soap, shampoo behind can be irritating to the skin especially in colder months. Then a lotion to calm things down..
hugs and bisous.
Bit of money saving tip; all moisturizers have Vitamin E in them. You dont really need a separate product just for that one thing. I would put the money saved into finding a good moisturizer that works best for you instead.
Best dont equal expensive either. Palmers Coconut Body Oil is a really good one for down there after shaving. Works really well, its cheap and easy to find.

The itchiness; your skin is irritated. Have you changed soaps or using something different (different shaving cream can also cause it)? Constant shaving will irritate the skin. As we are dealing with the genital area it is a more sensitive area than your hands or your face and wont be as forgiving or resilient if there are changes to it.
Tips with moisturizers; apply while your skin is still wet. Leave the drying off just for your hair. It wont take long until your dry to touch. Applying moisturizer when your skin is dry will use up a lot of product. A wet application you get more slip and your not using as much product for the same result.
Body oils work best on a wet application. Dry application its just going to sit on your skin and do nothing unless its being used as a massage oil or lube. Outside of that, body oils cant moisturize your skin without water.
Whilst probably not the right time of year, don't discount jock itch due to a fungal infection as another cause of itchiness.
I use Cortisone ointment where I have dry skin - and a stronger ointment I got from my Dermatologist in spots with calluses. Never a problem with my cock, probably because I don't shave down there - I pluck the hairs off my cock shaft and buzz the hair on my scrotum down to 1/4" every few weeks - the bush cut gives optimal sensitivity. I also bate several times a day using olive oil as a lube and use the recommended skin moisturizing products on my back, where the natural oils get washed off by my daily shower even though I don't use soap on my skin. Looking forward to spring and the end of winter dry skin season! I'm 82 and this has been my protocol for the last 25 years or so.
Also use moisturising cream after shaving my balls & pubes. Never had and itching problem & it feels so good &, like Unapologetic Fox, generally goes on to something else!!
Vitamin E oil is an excellent coice.
Skeeters? Already?? Oy.... LOL.
Might be.
Good call -especially if it's not thoroughly rinsed off. soap can be very drying. Hugs and bisous.
Plain old Vit E oil works really well. And, absolutely it should be done while the skin is still damp.
The dryness in the air during winter months can be brutal.
That's a pretty normal follow-up!
